Kitten season is still going strong, and we're seeing hundreds of kittens of all ages come through our doors every week, with no signs of slowing down.

From newborn bottle babies to playful older kittens, every one of them relies on lifesaving supplies while they wait for foster homes and forever families.

If you're able, please consider sending an item from our Kitten Wish List. Formula, nursing bottles, snuggle discs, heating pads, blankets, and other essentials make a huge difference for the kittens in our care and the amazing foster families caring for them.

Can't donate? You can still help by sharing this post or signing up to foster kittens. We're always looking for more people to open their homes to these tiny lives.

Thank you for helping Philadelphia's smallest and most vulnerable kittens get the care they need. 💙

‼️WE NEED TOWELS‼️ With the extreme heat, our dogs are spending much more time indoors to stay safe. Unfortunately, that also means a lot more muddy paws, water spills, and yes...plenty of poopy puppy accidents. 🐶💩

We've been going through towels faster than ever and our supply is nearly gone at our Wilmington and Stanton/Christiana locations.

Towels are an essential item used every single day at HAP for various purposes. For surgery patients, towels help keep pets warm as they recover from anesthesia and provide a clean, comfortable place for animals who may experience nausea after their surgery. In our animal care departments, hand towels are paired with disinfectants to thoroughly clean surfaces, helping prevent the spread of illness and keep our animals healthy. And of course, towels also serve as soft, lightweight bedding for our cats and dogs. Since some pups prefer turning comforters inside out, towels provide a dry, safe bedding alternative!

If you have new or gently used bath towels, beach towels, or hand towels that you're no longer using, we would love to take them off your hands! While our highest need is towels at this time, we are happy to take lightweight blankets, fleeces, sheets, or linens too!

THANK YOU💗
