🐾With the huge influx of animals needing help, we are reaching out again to see if anyone would be willing to foster. 😭😭😭☹️☹️😞😞
🐾🐾Foster homes are the most important part of rescuing animals. Without fosters, we cannot help. We do not have immediate access to fosters or a spot when we are contacted about animals needing placement as soon as possible. The ones people plan to euthanize that day for various reasons breaks our hearts, because when we cannot help, we absolutely take it personally. I know I tend to feel like a failure if I cannot help. I take animal deaths or potential deaths extremely hard. When I hear we are euthanizing at 1:30, my stomach drops. This happened to us yesterday; the dog had bad anxiety, so the dog was going to be put down. I want to reach out to see what happened, but I already know. How can we help? We cannot unless we have fosters.
In Gladwin, we take in the sanctuary dogs, so for adoptable dogs, we cannot survive without foster homes.
