With temperatures warming up outside we just couldn't resist announcing our summer camps! This year we will be offering 2 different types of camps. Camps are open for children aged 5 and older! Be sure to check them out for a fun filled summer for your kiddo 😉

We are once again offering our popular Horse Camps! These camps will run 9am-1pm every day. Camper's days will be filled with educational topics, crafts, games, and of course riding time. If you have a horse loving child, this is a great opportunity for them! Campers have the option of attending one day for $70 or those who attend both days get a discounted rate of $120! We required a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. Spots are limited so don't delay getting your kiddo registered!

Fairytale Camp: We are beyond excited to introduce our newest camp-fairytale camp! Join us for an enchanting afternoon filled with excitement and new friendships. Campers day will be filled with riding lesson, crafts, pony grooming sessions and more. Make sure to bring your favorite pretty dress to end the day with a photoshoot! This camp will run 12pm-3pm. Fairytale Camp costs $70 with a non-refundable deposit of $35 to hold your spot. If you have multiple children to register, please fill out a separate form for each child. Spots are limited so don't delay getting your kiddo registered!

The CMU Equestrian Club is in search of a hunt coach for the 2023-2024 season.

Some requirements:

-Must be ~1 hour from the CMU campus

-Must be able to give lessons weekly to riders of varied skill level (walk/trot to Open)

-Must be able to attend all horse shows (approximately 1 per month from Sept-February)

Some perks:

-All expenses at shows are paid for

-Lessons are paid

-Daily coaching fee is paid

We have two more puppies that are still looking for their forever home! 💕 They love being with people, playing, and hanging out on the farm.

The Red-Tri female likes to help herd sheep and has great herding instincts. She also enjoys snuggling with people.

The Black-Tri female enjoys running, jumping and will be great at agility. She also likes to ride on the side by side and go for car rides.

They both have so much potential and can be great for many different activities. They also love to snuggle and are so calm inside and would be great companions.

These are some amazing girls! They work so hard fundraising money for their lessons and shows on top of college! Anything donated is SO appreciated!

Make Them Carry the Saddle

"A father of darling girl and I were talking last week and he said that he wanted his daughter to ride more and not have to do the work part of the catching, grooming, and saddling. I smiled as I explained.

When you groom your horse (especially currying), you are toning your arms and stabilizing your core.

When you carry your saddle, your arms, chest, and back are doing isolated strengthening work."
