โBe Addicted To Your Dreamsโ
It is Junior High State Finals week here in Wyoming
The arena is buzzing with nerves, grit, and heart โ and we wouldnโt want it any other way and hope you capture your dreams.
Barry, Scott, and I have the privilege of working with some of the most incredible kids youโll ever meet. From our tiniest 3.5โyearโold roper to our college athletes, the drive we see in you is unmatched. We are proud of you, not just for how you compete, but for how you work, how you show up, and how you grow.
This game is not for the weak of heart.
Winners will be crownedโฆ but CHAMPIONS will be made.
โญ What Sets Champions Apart
Champions rise to the occasion โ not because itโs easy, but because they choose to.
They support others even when their own day didnโt go the way they hoped.
They cheer through disappointment.
They handout Lucky Ducks like theyโre gold buckles.
They lift their teammates, steady their animals, and honor the people who stand behind them.
Champions donโt compare.
They donโt look for excuses.
They use the competition to sharpen their edge, not dull their spirit.
Champions understand that tough days are part of the deal โ and they keep showing up anyway.
โญ When itโs all said and done, ask yourself:
Did I support my teammate
Did I support my parents
Did I support my animals
Did I support myself
Because thatโs the real test.
Finally I leave you with:
This week Barry quoted Bill & Tedโs Excellent Adventure during our talk:
โBe excellent to each other.โ
At the end of the day, this is just a blip in a long, beautiful life.
So be the champion.
Feed the addiction.
Feed the ethic.
And above all โ be excellent to each other.
