Kitty City At Wildhorse When Wildhorse Ranch Rescue in Gilbert AZ was purchased in 1995, there were about 62 cats.

Kitty City is a program at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue where rescued cats live in peace & harmony, safely away from dangerous environmental situations or potential harm from humans. With the help of Christi Benigni, we trapped & spayed/neutered all of the cats at Kitty City. Christi went on to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine & has helped the animal community for the past 13 years. Over the years

, we have taken in cats for other cat organizations when the cats were in danger due to environment or potential harm from humans. Because we completely operate on donations, we need your help to continue to provide a safe place for kitty cats in need. We now have a new cat atrium called Kitty Kastle in honor of MaryAnne Majestic and Lisa Burke.

😽Update on Old Lady Kitty - We named her Holly. She was found on the doorstep of Wildhorse at Pixie's Playground in San Tan Valley the afternoon of June 18. She was immediately taken to Arizona Animal Wellness Center in Gilbert for evaluation. She was kept overnight and she was picked up at 4pm on the 19th. She is a black and white female cat who weighs 6 pounds and is the estimated age of 15. She is a domestic Long Hair. Holly does not have a Chip. She is blind and possibly hard of hearing.

Holly proved negative on her SNAP Test and her blood test did not show anything that needed attention. She has a soft stool but a f***l test showed no Ova or Parasites at this time. Holly is very matted and her skin condition seems to be normal but we will keep checking. She definitely has been food deprived and our concern is to put her on the right diet for a senior cat's healthy recovery and weight gain. At this time the vet could not determine what caused her blind condition. She is loving the care and attention of amazing Kitty City Team! Please help us with a donation, if you can.

Joy: My name is Joy, and I was born in 2024. I am an easygoing cat seeking a home that will love me as much as I love them. I truly adore chin rubs and will melt into your hands with a gentle touch. I get along well with other cats and pretty much everyone I meet. I truly am the sweetest cat, but I'm often overlooked because I don't actively seek attention like some of the other cats here at Kitty City. We just took in an old man cat who was found on the doorstep at our San Tan Valley Equine Facility. He is very thin, matted, and was starving. 😽Donations for this sweet underweight kitten are appreciated for her care. Teeka is a little kitten who was found on a busy road and saved by a family. She is being fostered in a guest room by one of our managers. She is on medication to help her upper respiratory infection and needs to continue to gain weight. She also had fleas and was treated for that. Eventually, she will need her vaccinations and when she's old enough, she will be spayed.
