Look at this handsome youngster! His name is Archie and he was recently found as a stray in New Mexico. He is very thin, will need a visit to the vet, and a nice spa day as he gets ready to find a new home. He’s a very sweet collie mix who is tall and lanky, and he will most likely be a big boy.

Roadtrip with a cute sheltie anyone? We’re looking for help transporting our sheltie Jackson from Phoenix to Albuquerque in early November. If someone is up to doing the whole trip we will take care of the overnight accommodations in ABQ so you can rest before heading back home. Let us know if interested - thank you!

Looking to rehome a 2-3 year old Husky mix. Do not know much of his background as he was adopted from the pound. Very friendly, loves other dogs (best with larger dogs as he doesn't know his own strength), gets along with the cat in the household. Household is changing and really needs to be in a pack and with people that are home more often. Very enthusiastic young dog that does needs some training, knows sit and down but does not have great recall. Walks excitedly on leash, is housebroken but does get into things so would not recommend a household with small children. A backyard is a must with at least a 6 ft block fence. A meet and greet is a must as is a home visit. Please contact me via Facebook if you or anyone you know might be interested. Have looked into rescue but they are full.

Update - Now that we’ve had some time to get to know Archie, we have a better idea of what he will need in a forever home. This 8 mo old boy had lived life in an apartment and wasn’t exposed to much so the outside world and all its noises are a little scary for him. He is a bit uncomfortable on a leash at this time, he prefers to run around the yard and play vs go for a walk.

Archie would benefit from a younger household with children he can grow up with as he loves kids (he also loves cats!) and a nice grassy yard to run in…also important would be another confident dog buddy to run and play with who can also show him the world outside of home is an ok place. He is getting better in regard to his fear of outside noises, but his new family will need to provide training and be patient with him as he adjusts to his new home and surroundings.
