❄️ Kentucky weather is officially in its bipolar era… snow one day, sunshine the next!
With the early ice and salt popping up, here’s how to keep your pets safe all season:

🐾 1. Check those paws!
Salt, ice, and other chemicals can stick to your dog’s paws and cause irritation—or get licked off later. Give them a quick wipe after outdoor time.

🧤 2. Gear up for the chaos.
If you wouldn’t walk barefoot in Kentucky’s surprise snowstorms, your dog shouldn’t either! Booties help protect their paws from ice, salt, and chilly sidewalks.

⚠️ 3. Watch the chemicals.
Many de-icing products are toxic to pets. Use pet-safe alternatives at home and keep an eye on your furry friends during their cold-weather adventures.

Kiki has already shown us her playful side and her love for toys, soft blankets, and cozy snuggles. Once she’s in your arms, that purr motor kicks on and doesn’t stop! 😻

She gets along great with other cats and can do well with dogs too, especially once she gets to know them.

🐾 Meet Charli! 🐾

This spunky girl is bursting with personality and charm! Charli has been with us since she was just a tiny kitten after being found all alone in a Walmart parking lot. 💛

Charli has a bit of a unique personality — she can be shy at first and takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’s one of the sweetest and most playful companions you could ask for. While she’s not the biggest fan of being held, she’ll happily show her affection in her own way — like rubbing against you or perching on your back if you lean forward too far! 😄

Charli would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. She does well with other cats, especially males, but would also be perfectly happy as an only kitty. A quieter environment would help her truly blossom.

With her expressive eyes, striking tabby stripes, and chatty personality, Charli is as beautiful as she is lovable. She’s spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to find her forever family.

No worries — we still have plenty of adorable kitties looking for their furever homes! 🐾

🐾 Meet Corbin! 🐾

Corbin was found as a stray in Corbin, Kentucky — and she’s come such a long way since then! When she first arrived, she wasn’t in the best health, but thanks to plenty of TLC from Dr. Wade and the All 4 Paws team, she’s spent the past year healing and thriving. 💕

Corbin still has a few ongoing tummy troubles, but with a little more patience and some continued food trials, we’re confident she’ll be feeling her best soon!

This sweet dilute tortie absolutely loves attention and affection. She’s a total snuggle bug who enjoys curling up in your lap, napping on your shoulder (or even your back!), and soaking up all the fuzzy blanket time she can get. Her purr motor runs nonstop, and she’s not shy about letting you know when she wants love — she’s quite the vocal girl! 😻 We have her estimated as about 3 years old!

Corbin does wonderfully with other cats and can do well with dogs too, as long as introductions are slow and gentle.

Don’t let ‘em gobble ‘til they wobble! 🦃 We know Thanksgiving is all about the food (and maybe a few too many leftovers), but don’t forget — our pets can pack on the pounds too! 🍗 While those puppy eyes are hard to resist, keeping your pet at a healthy weight is one of the best ways to ensure they live a long, happy life by your side. ❤️

Obesity is a serious health concern for pets. It can lead to joint pain and inflammation, heart disease, diabetes, liver problems, and even a shortened lifespan. Carrying extra weight also puts more strain on their bones and joints, making movement painful and reducing their overall quality of life.

Fat pets are at a higher risk for diseases, but the good news is — obesity is preventable! 🐾 Stick to healthy portions, limit table scraps, and keep up with daily exercise or playtime. A healthy diet and regular activity go a long way in keeping those tails wagging and whiskers twitching for years to come! 💪
