📣 SATURDAY HOURS UPDATE
We’re making a change to our Saturday schedule!
Beginning soon, our clinic will offer appointments on ONE Saturday each month. We’ll post our operating Saturdays in advance so you can plan accordingly and make sure you’re able to get the Saturday appointment time you need.
On all other Saturdays, we will not have a doctor available for appointments. However, we will still be open from 7:30 AM–9:30 AM for:
🐾 Medication & food pick-ups�
🐾 Prescription refill requests�
🐾 Appointment requests�
🐾 General questions and messages for our team
We know changes to our schedule can take a little getting used to, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to create a schedule that best supports our patients, clients, and veterinary team. ❤️
As always, if your pet has an urgent medical concern outside of our operating hours, please seek care through your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

October 10th will be the next Saturday opening to schedule an appointment with Dr. Noble.

Most people have heard of rabies and distemper, but those aren't the only illnesses raccoons can develop.

Just like our pets, raccoons can suffer from parasites, bacterial infections, pneumonia, mange, and intestinal diseases. Many of these conditions are treatable when recognized early, while others require immediate care from a licensed wildlife rehabilitator or veterinarian.

Some signs to watch for include:
🦝 Thick yellow or green eye or nasal discharge
🦝 Diarrhea or vomiting
🦝 Weight loss or poor body condition
🦝 Hair loss, crusty skin, or severe itching
🦝 Coughing or difficulty breathing
🦝 Lethargy or unusual weakness
🦝 Loss of appetite

Not every sick raccoon has rabies, and not every raccoon acting differently is dangerous. Many are simply sick, injured, or dehydrated and deserve a chance to recover with proper care.

Please remember:
✔️ Never approach or handle wildlife with your bare hands.
✔️ Keep children and pets away from sick wildlife.
✔️ If you find a raccoon that appears sick or injured, contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for guidance.
