Message from Finder: "Found this stray while looking for another lost dog in that area that looks similar (Stormy, female). Dog is chipped but unregistered. Severely matted with long nails. Flea collar and broken slip collar on him. "

Lost Pet Reports Spike Over the 4th of July!🎆

Fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be frightening for our pets. The days surrounding Independence Day are some of the busiest of the year for lost pet reports.

Before the celebrations begin:
• Make sure your pet’s microchip information is up to date.
• Check that their collar and ID tags are secure and easy to read.
• Give them plenty of exercise during the day.
• Create a safe, quiet space indoors away from windows and doors during fireworks.

Please remember: never bring your pets to fireworks displays. A little preparation can help keep your best friend safe at home this holiday. ❤️🤍💙
