It’s and today we’re featuring our own Seattle Windy, donated by raceowner Debra Medlock of Stars End Farm. Windy fit right in with the herd, earning a permanent spot as a therapy horse and at age 12, will be ridden in our Project. When he was at our barn at the track, the gallop girls used to fight over him and his all business attitude. He’s a fan favorite here and we love him!

Many retired thoroughbreds find new careers in equine-assisted therapy programs. Their gentle nature and strong bond with humans make them excellent candidates for helping individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, PTSD, and at-risk youth. Thoroughbreds have been used in therapeutic settings for veterans, children with autism, and trauma survivors. 🐴❤️
