Salt Water Spa
The Nautilus Salt Water Spa at Tahoe Equine offers cold water therapy to the horse’s lower legs, aiding in recovery from injuries, managing inflammation, and more. This is excellent for treating ligament injuries, like suspensories, and for hoof problems. 8-Horse Eurociser
Tahoe Equine’s new facility offers an 80’ Centaur Eurociser that can exercise 8 horses at consistent speeds ranging from a walk to a full gallop. Unlike traditional hot walker designs, the Eurociser style allows the horse to move freely in its compartment at its own speed without being pulled forward. This natural movement in a safe, controlled environment is outstanding for rebuilding strength following injury. Our Eurociser is always used to warm up the horses before use of the AquaTread. RLT Regenerative Laser

A bit of a delayed post, but one well worth sharing—June’s Distal Limb Dissection was an exceptional day from start to finish. It’s taken us a little time to sit down and reflect, as the season has kept us busy, but this event is one we haven’t stopped thinking about.

We were proud to welcome such a strong turnout and a group of attendees whose curiosity, engagement, and dedication to advancing their knowledge made the experience truly meaningful.

Opportunities like this—where hands-on learning meets thoughtful discussion—are at the heart of what we strive to provide. It’s a privilege to create a space where education and professional growth come together in a way that directly benefits the horses we serve.

Due to popular demand, we’ve decided to bring back our Distal Limb Dissection Event on April 17th — and we’re excited to offer this opportunity again for those who missed it the first time.

This event has been one of our most requested educational experiences, and we’ve heard from many of you asking for another chance to attend. So… we listened.

We do not plan to repeat this Distal Limb event again for at least a few years as we continue expanding our education series.

Inside the Equine Distal Limb: Tendons, Ligaments & Function
Join us at Tahoe Equine Rehab & Conditioning Center for a unique educational opportunity with Dr. Shane Miller, DVM, Dipl. ACVS.

This surgical distal limb dissection will give participants an up-close look at the intricate anatomy of the equine lower limb, including the tendons, ligaments, and branching structures that play a critical role in stability, movement, and soundness in the equine athlete.

We’re excited to officially announce the 2026 Event Schedule at Tahoe Equine — and it’s our biggest year yet!

This year we’re diving deep into:

• Equine Joint Injections: The Why, The How & What to Expect
• Equine GI Anatomy & Colic Dissection
All of our events will use cadaver horses.

These hands-on educational experiences are designed for owners, trainers, and equine professionals who want a deeper understanding of anatomy, performance, injury, and overall horse health.

We’ll also be hosting two private, industry-specific labs with limited attendance — details coming soon.
