When you’re working your horses you gotta remember that you can’t out-train a mindset problem. Make sure they are understanding of what you’re asking and they’re comfortable with what you’re asking.

The horse world has always had a way of coming together when one of its own needs support.

A few weeks ago, David Bowen underwent quadruple bypass surgery. While he is healing and on the road to recovery, we wanted to do our part to help ease a little of the burden on David and his family.

David has been Gibson’s farrier and a longtime friend. He has always been someone we could count on, and we know many others could say the same.

We are offering a chance to win a 2026/2027 breeding to Cool Guitar for $100 per ticket, with all proceeds going directly to the Bowen family through Morgan Cromer. One winner will be chosen for every 100 entries received. Raffle winners will be drawn Monday, May 18th.

Thinking about stepping down from being an adult. Im just not in the right headspace for this position right now.

Comfortable Relaxed Willing… your horse doesn’t have Netflix and decompress it has its stall! So try to finish your training sessions in a fashion that your horse isn’t frustrated isn’t resentful and is excited to go eat, drink and rest thinking of how good your last training session was.
