We know the internet is FULL of information… but sometimes it’s nice to have everything laid out in person, with real conversation, hands-on learning, and the opportunity to ask questions along the way. ☺️

If you’re in Anne Arundel County and considering starting your very own backyard flock, join us on the homestead for our Backyard Chicken Keeping 101 class!

During this relaxed, small-group workshop we will cover:

✨ Anne Arundel County rules & regulations based on your lot size
✨ The basics of chicken tending and daily care
✨ Coop and run sizing recommendations
✨ Chicken breeds, personalities, egg production & what to expect
✨ Supplies and setup recommendations for beginners
✨ Common beginner mistakes and how to avoid them
✨ And so much more!

You’ll also get the chance to tour the coop and meet the ladies! 🐔

If you’ve visited the homestead before, you may already know Dolly… and if not, you won’t want to miss meeting her. She’s truly one of a kind. 🤍

Our goal is to create a cozy, welcoming class that leaves you feeling confident and excited to start your flock successfully.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸

We’ll be taking this weekend to slow down, spend time with family, and honor the true meaning behind Memorial Day. While the weather may not be perfect, we hope you still find time to rest, gather around the table, and enjoy the long weekend. ❤️

Most importantly, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.
