We're thrilled that Words of a Feather had a lovely bay filly (nicknamed Willow) by Mshawish last week. She was a month overdue so she weighed about 120 lbs at birth. Big girl!

Hope and her daughter Holly are doing wonderfully as well. We can't wait to see how these MD-bred fillies grow up!

Very pleased with how Hope for Miracles' new filly by Klimt is looking so far! Hope will be bred to Golden Lad this spring for a 2022 Maryland-bred foal.

Words of a Feather looks like she could be ready to foal in the next day or two, so we're keeping our fingers crossed! She is scheduled to be bred to leading Maryland stallion Great Notion this spring.

Next up is a lovely 2yo Florida-bred filly by Long Island Sound, who is a son of War Front out of a half-sister to the incomparable ZENYATTA. This filly is a half-sister to a stakes-placed winner and out of a dam who earned over $100k on the racetrack. Under her second dam is multiple graded stakes winner MAD FLATTER and another stakes-placed winner of over $200k. On the smaller side now, but has a lot of growing left to do. Has started training but is not galloping yet. Located in Camden, South Carolina.

MD-bred yearlings abound! Owner is looking to move these, so please PM if you're interested in any. Geldings by Shackleford (sire of speed freak Promises Fulfilled), Barbados (2 winners from 2 starters so far, and both competing in allowance company at Laurel Park!), Aldrin (from the first crop of this 3/4 brother to Tapit), and Blofeld (sure to get some hot 2yos this year). One filly by Hoppertunity, who is the richest GSW ever to retire to the Mid-Atlantic. Don't miss out!

A little later than we'd hoped, but the pedigree analysis of our newest acquisition, Hope for Miracles, is live! By Kentucky Derby winner Orb, Hope for Miracles is a half-sister to GSW and sire Declan's Warrior, as well as multiple graded stakes-placed Canonize. She had a 2020 c**t by Good Samaritan last spring and is currently in foal to G1 juvenile Klimt (Quality Road) on a 4/17 cover.

The pedigree analysis for Words of a Feather is now live! As mentioned previously, we helped a client of ours acquire her at the Fasig-Tipton December Mixed Sale in Timonium, MD. She is currently in foal to Mshawish on a 3/31 cover and has been booked back to leading MD stallion Great Notion for a 2022 foal. We can't wait to see what her first foal looks like this spring!

Checked on both Hope and Feather at the farm today and they look wonderful. Hope was definitely thrown by the rooster crowing repeatedly nearby, but I'm sure she'll get used to it! Feather is still wary of the dairy cows in the adjoining pasture but slowly getting used to them. We can't wait to see what they produce this spring!

More exciting news! We were recently able to pick up Hope for Miracles as a broodmare for a client. By Kentucky Derby winner Orb, she is a half-sister to GSW Declan's Warrior and GSPW Canonize. She is scheduled to have a MD-bred foal by G1-winning juvenile Klimt (Quality Road) in mid-March. She has joined Words of a Feather at De Novo Farm in Maryland. Looking forward to seeing them both at the farm tomorrow!

Busy weekend for us! We were able to help a client with the purchase of Hip #10, Words of a Feather. She is a beautiful multiple-winning daughter of Stay Thirsty out of the 7x stakes-winner Way With Words (who earned $578,400 in 31 starts). She is expecting a MD-bred foal by Mshawish in late February. We have already booked her back to leading Maryland stallion, Great Notion for a 2022 foal.

We are still on the lookout for a NY-bred weanling for the same client, so please let us know if you have any available for private purchase.
