🐾 Senior Spotlight: Mama Clara 🐾

This beautiful senior gal had herself a wonderful morning! Clara strolled down to the pond with her foster mom, Candi, to see what was going on—and let’s just say she was way more interested in eating all the bread G was using as bait than in catching fish 😂.

At her age, Clara knows exactly how to enjoy the simple things in life: a sunny walk, a belly rub (or twenty), and sneaking a snack when she can. She’s proof that senior dogs still have so much joy, silliness, and love to share. 💕

Clara lives her very best life thanks to her foster family, who makes sure her golden years are full of comfort and care. Clara would need a special home where she is the only pet. Thank you, Candi, for loving this girl the way she deserves. 🫶

Margaret’s Saving Grace Bully Rescue is creeping back for another spook-tacular night with our bone-chilling friends at Quad State Beer Fest: Halloween Hysteria 2025! 🎃🍺

We need ghouls, ghosts, and goblins to help us raise life-saving funds for our rescue pups 👻🐾. All it takes is pouring a wicked brew or handing a bewitch-tini to a guest—no cash, no cards, just spooky sips and a boo-tiful smile! 🧙‍♀️✨

📅 Saturday, October 4th | 2–8 PM
📍 Washington County Agricultural Education Center, Boonsboro, MD

🕛 Shifts:
• 1st Shift: 12:30–4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4–8 PM
• All Day: 12:30–8 PM

🐾 Monty is STILL waiting for his family… 🐾

This handsome blockhead has been overlooked for far too long, and we can’t figure out why. Monty is the total package — loyal, goofy, and always ready to brighten your day with his big smile. 🥹💙 As he has decompressed, we have learned so much.

✨ About Monty:
• Medium-low energy, loves walks & playtime but also knows how to chill.
• Dog-friendly with proper introductions. He has done well with all dogs here to include a resent puppy foster we temp fostered.
• He hates being in a crate. He loves being outside. We are unsure of his past but Monty is a boy who would flourish from a doggy door and fenced yard.
• Loves people and would thrive in a home that wants a best buddy to spoil. Monty is a big guy of approx. 95 #

Monty has done everything right — he’s patient, he’s sweet, and he’s been waiting while others come and go. It’s time for him to finally know the love and security of his own family. 🏡💫

Rocky 🩵

This tiny nugget of a small mix breed possibly with some lab & retriever, landed in a pitbull rescue and he is all ready for his forever home-

What we have learned about Rocky as his temp foster for a few days.

*Does NOT like the crate but after a few minutes, he does quiet. Rocky’s preference is to be with you. HE LOVES PEOPLE and to be held, so much.

He has done well with ALL of our dogs but Stormy 😆 this is no surprise, if you know Storma Jean, she is a quirky one and honestly, we just think he is a bit weirded out by her because he is very dog friendly and also does well when meeting our cats.

He has no accidents in his crate and has crated for the night with no issues, sleeping all night. He is usually ready to rise and shine around 6 AM 🌞

Rocky is fully updated on his vet care and he has just recently neutered. DOB 06/01/2025, he is 24 pounds

“💔🐾 Angel - NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME ASAP!! 🐾💔

We are begging for help for this sweet girl, Angel. Her story is one that has left us all heartbroken, and we need your help to change her ending.

Angel’s dad, Ryan, loved her dearly. But Ryan is now in hospice care, and he will never make it home again. Before he went in, we made him a promise: that we would find Angel a safe and loving place to spend the rest of her years. 💕

We thought we had found that home. We had a meet & greet set up… but the person never showed. Angel was left waiting. We were devastated, and so was she.💔 💔

Right now, Angel is staying alone in Ryan’s empty home, there are other roommates in the house. A kind neighbor/friend stops by several times a day to feed her and let her out, but she is lonely. She doesn’t understand why her dad isn’t there.

Yesterday, we took her to visit Ryan. She was overjoyed to see him — wagging, smiling, soaking up every second by his side. We believe it gave them both the closure they needed. But now, Angel desperately needs a place to go.

She is the sweetest cuddle bug, gentle and loving. She’s gained a little weight without regular walks, and she would do best as the only animal in the home.

More than anything, she just wants love.

👉 We promised Ryan we’d take care of her. Please — help us keep that promise. Angel cannot stay alone any longer. We need a foster or foster-to-adopt home now.
