Trying something new by staggering brumation. Two girls are going cold this week. In 3 weeks the rest will go down. Hoping that a month between breeding will help next year's season to be less overwhelming. Eggs won't be laid within weeks of each other. Babies won't be hatching and starting to feed all at once.

This breeding season has brought to my attention how unpredictable life can be and how much time and attention this hobby requires. Unfortunately none of the eggs produced this season successfully hatched. I believe I could have saved some if I had been checking on them more frequently. Lesson learned and I'm hoping for a better routine next year. Baroness Twist will be added to the mix next year and we will see what beautiful condas we can produce.

I will also strive to post more often.
