Current research projects include: cutting-edge reproductive technologies to preserve valuable genetics, pheromone discovery in the maned wolf, genetic markers of irritable bowel syndrome in wild canids, movement and home range size of the dhole, niche partitioning in sympatric Brazilian canids and human-canid conflicts
