🌞 BREAKING NEWS: The giant wet bath towel in the sky has finally been turned OFF. 🙌🐾

After approximately 47 years of rain (or at least it felt like it), the sun is shining again and the dogs are acting like they’ve never seen grass before. ☀️😂

Today’s training sessions included:🐕 Zoomies at Mach 5🐾 Selective hearing in the sunshine🎾 Retrieving literally everything except what was thrown!
Sniffing every blade of grass like it’s brand new

Friendly reminder: after several rainy days, your dog may have stored up enough energy to power a small city. This is your sign to get outside, train, play, walk, sniff, and let them burn off that “I’ve been trapped indoors” chaos. 😅

And if your dog suddenly forgot every command they knew because the weather is nice… don’t worry. We trainers call that “sunshine amnesia.” ☀️

Rainy days don’t have to mean bored dogs! 🌧️🐾

When the weather keeps us indoors, it’s extra important to exercise your dog’s brain just as much as their body. Mental enrichment can tire pups out in the best way and help prevent unwanted behaviors caused by boredom.

Here are a few easy indoor ideas to keep those tails wagging:
Scatter feeding or “find it” games with treats/kibble🧩 Puzzle toys or stuffed Kongs👃 Nose work games using boxes or towels🎾 Practice obedience skills or teach a new trick🦴 Frozen lick mats or enrichment bowls🏠 Indoor obstacle courses using pillows, chairs, and blankets🎯 Short training sessions throughout the day

Even 10–15 minutes of mental work can make a huge difference for your dog! Stay cozy, stay dry, and have fun getting creative with your pups this week. ❤️
