Introducing Coco!🩷Coco is a 3 year 7 month old Labrador mix weighing 42 pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender. Coco is sweet and curious girl once she gets to know you. 🐾Can be shy with strangers, once she knows you she's ready for adventures and zoomies! She lives for back scratches and spending time with her people. 🐶Mild separation anxiety, would thrive in a home with someone who has a lot of time to spend with her. Great for hikes and bike riding. She is jumper, licker and barker. Is used to having a fenced in yard. Loves car rides. Loves to cuddle and sleep with you at night. Knows commands sit & stay. Treat motivated. Dog friendly. Housebroken. Camera shy.📷
Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00.

UPDATE: THEY HAVE FOUND A NEW HOME! THANK YOU!!Rehoming Needed! Not at shelter! Please contact owner, info below! Moon & Sun Have been together since day 1. Both about 6 months old. Very healthy and happy.

Moon (white with spots) is the wild child. He's very vocal when fed. He's very high energy and silly. Always playing pranks on Sun, you could say he's "the boss" and he knows it, lol. He's constantly "popcorning", something guineas do when they are really excited. He loves his food , especially veggies and hay.

Sun (orange with long hair) is super sweet. When I bought them together , they said Sun was everyone's favorite. He's very cuddly. Both are social and socialized, but he loves being held the most. He's very quiet and loving. He lets Moon take the lead because he's so laid back.

I wish I could keep them. They are very spoiled and loved, however I am a single mom and cannot keep up with them right now due to work, kids, and life. They come with a habitat , food, toys , vitamin c drops , water bottle, hay, bedding, hideouts, etc.

Titania is 5-years old, she's been here at the shelter for over 755 days. Each one of those days her goal is to escape her cat room so she can be where the people are! Our mission statement is "We are the voice for those who can not speak."

The Humane Society of Sandusky County is a 501c3 non-profit organization that receives no city, county or government funding of any kind, nor any support from the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). All of our monies are derived from local contributions and fund raising. We can do only so much without your assistance-that's why we need your help! Without sufficient contributions and funding our shelter cannot exist-but a shelter is only a bandage to a much bigger problem, pet overpopulation. We beg you to spay/neuter your pet and think of us when it is time to replace your beloved pet.

The Humane Society of Sandusky County was established in 1986. The purpose of the Humane Society is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals and the establishment of humane educational programs in the Sandusky County school systems and throughout the community.

ADOPTION FEES: DOGS: Puppies $200 Adult Dogs $150 Desirable dog breeds priced at our discretion Adoption Includes: Spay or neuter, heartworm test, age appropriate vaccines current, deworming, monthly heartworm/flea prevention medications and micro-chipped. CATS: Declawed Cats $100 Kittens (Under 1 Year) $100 Adult Cats - $80 All cats are Buy One Get the Second For $20 Adoption Includes: Spay or neuter, FELV/FIV test, age appropriate vaccines current, deworming, monthly flea prevention and micro-chipped.
