Sandusky County Dog Kennel

Sandusky County Dog Kennel -Adoption fee is $150, which includes the spay/neuter, 4 in 1 vaccine, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, de-worming, and current year license.

-We post our available dogs with a specific date and time that they become available. You must be present to be considered for adoption. If there is more than one person here at the initial adoption time, we will hold a drawing to determine who adopts the dog. We have a PUPdate for you! Babies are doing great. They are two weeks and one day old! We did sadly lose two babies. But the rest are doing phenomenal and mommy is doing great at caring for them. They are opening their eyes now and starting to walk around. And one of these babies is already 3 pounds! Stay tuned for more updates!

ARP is still waiting for his forever home! He is such a good boy but he has developed some issues from being in a kennel environment, he needs a dedicated person to give him rules and stick to them!
He does best with a leash that’s a chain because he likes to grab it and play tug of war with it. So a chain leash has stopped that behavior. We feel someone in his life played tug with him. He jumps when he’s excited but is corrected easily.

But once he’s calmed down he sits and walks great and loves attention, he also has a little bit of skin issues and may need a different diet to clear him all the way up.
Someone please give this boy a shot!

Mostly house trained, doesn’t like to get wet
Only has accidents when we have to lock them in at night which is 5pm-7:30am that is a long time to hold it.
He will take a bath but he doesn’t like them and he doesn’t like the rain or wet paws.
He does tear up softer toys and you do need to watch him with them as he may eat them.
He is a little snatchy with toys and needs some work on being easier.

**ATTENTION: WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HUNTING DOG RETIREMENT OR RESCUE**
Lady Bug has been at the Kennel since March. She is a 9 year old Female English Coonhound. She has been with other dogs and around children, we do not think she would do well with cats. She is house trained, is Super Sweet and Mild Mannered. She deserves a life outside of the Kennel environment.
