Good Lab Outfitters is a small, quaint kennel of purebred black, yellow, and chocolate AKC Labrador Retriever puppies. Combining beauty, form, and function, we strive toward consistent improvement in all we do. Whether training, showing, competing, hanging out as BFF companions, or having puppies.... we strive toward growth and improvement with each new day, each new experience. We occasionally pr

oduce beautiful, well balanced, English type Labs with the temperament, intelligence, and ability to join their owners in the house, on the job, or in the field. Great care and research goes into each litter in an effort to produce the best top quality all-around Lab pups for our puppy families. It is my desire and commitment to adhere to the 'Betterment of the Breed' and producing only litters which are consistent with, and true to, the classic Labrador Retriever Breed Standard description, which include ONLY Black, Yellow and Chocolate Labs. Health certifications are done on all breeding Labs for OFA Hip, Elbow, CERF, PRA/prcd, CNM, and EIC to ensure we are providing the healthiest pups possible. Additionally, in full disclosure, we may occasionally offer products we believe would be beneficial to or enjoyed by our followers and fellow dog lovers via affiliates links on our FB Page and/or website. Update Terry has been reclaimed

Terry was picked up as a stray on 02/02/26 from West Rd. He’s a black lab, weighs 76 lbs, and is estimated to be around 3 years old. He will be available for adoption or rescue on 02/09/26.

⏰ His euthanasia date is 04/06/28 – time is running out!

Terry is loving, loyal, and deserves a second chance at life. Let’s help him find the home he deserves. 🐾

Deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers to family, friends, and those in the Labrador Retriever world blessed by the work and contribution of Mary Rowley of Candlewood Kennel and her great Labrador Retrievers.

Our old boy, and first standing stud, Sawyer, Outfitters Sawyer Royale carried Candlewood bloodlines. He was an amazing, sweet, sweet boy with a huge heart, talent, and drive that would retrieve all day if allowed,.. and then melt into a big softy. He was such a special boy to us. 🐾 🦆

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Howley, known to many for her beloved Candlewood Kennels. Mary was a tremendous influence in the retriever world for more than 50 years through her Candlewood breedings, her many great dogs and accomplishments, and her generous mentorship. She leaves behind an enduring legacy in the retriever community and in the hearts of all who knew her. Our deepest condolences to her family and many friends.
