🐾 Meet Grandpaw — A Senior Who Deserves His Special Someone ❤️
Grandpaw is an older senior who was rescued from a kill shelter, and we’re hoping someone will look past his challenges and see the sweet boy underneath. 🥹
Because Grandpaw has a history of biting, he needs an adult-only home with someone who understands that trust takes time. He also has some food aggression, so an experienced and patient adopter will be important.
But his foster has seen his incredibly sweet side, too. ❤️ Grandpaw will sometimes jump right into their lap and ask for pets! And when he’s had enough, he simply lets them know and gets down. He has his boundaries—and he deserves a person who will respect them.
🐶 He goes outside with some of his smaller foster dog friends. He doesn’t really interact with them much, either positively or negatively, but he’s comfortable sharing the space.
Grandpaw isn’t looking for just any home. He’s looking for a patient, understanding, special person who will give him the time, structure, and respect he needs to feel safe.
He may have some quirks, but senior dogs like Grandpaw still have so much love to give. ❤️
