🔥IT IS HOT OUTSIDE!!!🔥

🐾 HOT PAVEMENT HURTS DOGS 🐾

Did you know pavement can become dangerously hot—even when the air temperature doesn’t feel extreme?

☀️ Air Temp → Pavement Temp77°F = 125°F pavement86°F = 135°F pavement95°F = 145°F pavement

At 125°F or higher, painful paw burns can happen in as little as 60 seconds.

🐶 Hot pavement can cause:
⚠️ Burned paw pads
⚠️ Pain and limping
⚠️ Blisters or p*eled skin
⚠️ Infection risk
⚠️ Long-term paw damage

Try the 7-second test ✋Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.

Protect those paws:
✅ Walk early morning or late evening
✅ Choose grass or shaded paths
✅ Keep pets hydrated
✅ Consider booties or paw protection

A quick pavement check can prevent a painful injury. ❤️🐾

🐾 HOW MANY CATS CAN ONE CAT CREATE IN JUST 5 YEARS? 🐾

It’s a shocking number.

A female kitten can become pregnant as young as 5–6 months old, and she can have up to 3 litters per year, averaging 3–6 kittens per litter.

That means one unspayed female cat can produce dozens of kittens in her lifetime—and those kittens can begin having kittens of their own before they’re even a year old.

While internet estimates vary widely, animal welfare organizations commonly estimate that one unspayed female cat and her offspring can result in thousands of cats within just a few years if breeding continues.

🐱 The good news? One surgery can stop the cycle.

🔥🐶 HEAT STROKE IN DOGS CAN TURN CRITICAL FAST 🐶🔥

As temperatures rise, heat stroke becomes a serious emergency we see all too often.

Watch for these warning signs:
⚠️ Heavy or nonstop panting
⚠️ Thick drooling
⚠️ Bright red or pale gums
⚠️ Vomiting or diarrhea
⚠️ Weakness, stumbling, or collapse
⚠️ Seizures or loss of consciousness

If you suspect heat stroke:
❄️ Move your dog to shade or air conditioning immediately
💧 Cool with cool (NOT ice-cold) water
🌬️ Use a fan if available
🏥 Seek emergency veterinary care right away

Prevention saves lives:
✔️ Never leave pets in parked cars
✔️ Avoid strenuous exercise during peak heat
✔️ Provide fresh water and shade
✔️ Check pavement temperature before walks

A missed walk won’t hurt—but heat stroke can be fatal.

Please share to help keep pets safe this season ❤️🐾
