☀️ June has arrived! ☀️

I've decided that every few months I'll release an upcoming litter chart so everyone has an idea of what's to come!

We did have a Peruvian/Lunkarya litter born a few days ago, and availability will be posted soon. I will have 1 Peruvian sow and 1 Lunkarya boar available.💕

We have a few weeks before our next litter arrives! After our recent move, things have been stressful for both us and the animals, and it set us back a bit in the caviary. We're taking things slow, addressing what we'd like to improve, and getting back on track. A HUGE thank you to everyone who has been patient and understanding!! - Baby updates are to come! 😊

At this time, I have one confirmed litter of each breed expected, and their possible colors are listed below. We also have a Holland Lop litter due mid June! ✨

Skinny Pigs / Werewolves are my newest projects here at Texas Texel Cavies. Most, if not all, of the babies from this litter will be retained for my breeding program. I've been incredibly excited about it and I can't wait to share their progress with you all! 🥹💕

With that being said, I have welcomed a few new additions to the caviary, and I'll be introducing them throughout the months. Stay tuned! ✨

As of now, I will be implementing an adoption agreement form that will be required for all adoptions moving forward. This form is being put in place to help ensure my cavies/bunnies are going to responsible homes. The agreement also helps provide clear communication and expectations between both parties so the adoption process remains smooth, responsible, and transparent.

**All deposits / adoptions going forward will be required to fill out this form.**

Thank you all so much for supporting me!

This hobby has its up and downs. But in the end its incredibly rewarding to bring these little lives into the world and I’m so grateful for every one of you who has followed along on this journey. When things get challenging, I try to look back at how far I’ve come and remember the amazing support I’ve received from my friends and followers.

This month also marks my page’s 3rd birthday, and I am truly amazed at how far we’ve come together. What started as a simple passion has grown into something so special, and reaching 600 followers is a milestone I’m incredibly thankful for.

Thank you for being part of this journey, for your encouragement, and for supporting what I love to do. Here’s to many more years of growth, learning, and sharing together! 💕🐾✨

I also want to take a moment to thank my small circle of cavy breeders Critter Chaos Texel Haven & Katalyst Caviary . Your kindness and encouragement have meant so much to me over this last year. They have pushed me to keep doing what I love. Running a small caviary takes a lot of dedication, love, and hard work, and I truly believe we should continue to support one another as we grow. Small hobby breeders bring something unique and special to our projects!! Please take the time to show love and support to the smaller caviaries in my community and give them a follow. They deserve recognition for their standards alone. I cannot wait to see what they have planned for these next few months! 💕🐹✨

They are all doing so well!! Look at those Harlequin and Tort colors popping!

Im thinking this weekend I will have a decent idea on gender/colors and will open up reservation deposits. All 7 will be available!

These babies will be ready to hop mid to late June. ✨️

🌸 Welcome, May! 🌸

With flowers blooming and our move finally behind us… it’s officially *baby time!* 🥰💕

I know some of you have been patiently (or not so patiently 😄) waiting for updates on our newest little ones..and the wait is almost over!

Before we get into all the cuteness, I have a few important updates:

🐹 Guinea pigs- will now go home at 4–6 weeks
🐰 Bunnies- will go home at 8–12 weeks

This change helps ensure every baby has the time they need to grow strong, healthy, and fully ready for their new homes. 💕

I will also no longer be offering *first pick of the litter* deposits. Instead, I’ll be sharing pregnancy updates so you can follow along every step of the way. Babies will be posted as they arrive!

✨ Please remember to review my policies—this helps everything go smoothly for both you and the babies.

Big things are happening here, both on my page and in the caviary, so thank you for growing and adjusting with us! ❤️

We are currently moving so im not able to respond as quickly and thoroughly.

All available guinea pigs will be posted in a week or so. I have Peruvian, Silkarya, and Texels, sows and boars available. Mila did finally give birth to a singleton boar! Next round of babies will be in mid-late May-July. ✨️

This litter of hollands are doing amazing. All 7 are fed and growing fur, and mama is doing it all on her own! I hope this lovely progress continues. 🥰
Bunny availability will be posted in 2.5 weeks!!
