"Home Visits " are required for potential adopters and foster ( s ) homes . TAO is a team of "UN-Paid" fosters & volunteers who work together to bring awareness for the abused , neglected , abandoned animals. Many of the animals we rescue come from a dog fighting ( known dumping site ) neighborhood in Ft Worth, Texas but we rescue animals in a variety of circumstance, including strays and animals who have been abandoned or owner surrendered . NOTE: All animals are scanned for a micro-chip upon intake . We believe that EVERY ANIMAL MATTERS. Our mission is to get them off the street away from danger ( as a majority we rescue come from the streets) . we believe in every animal deserve a second chance .. TAO provides medical and nutritional care to our rescues, as well as socialization, rehabilitation , preventative care and neuter/spay. Community Outreach :
We educate the public on the need for neuter/spay as well as providing education on animal needs and care. WE educate individuals who lack information about spay and neuter, vaccination needs, and adequately caring for animals. We assist families with their pets (to help them keep their pets) , which includes home visitation and providing the means for vaccinating their animals. We help with scheduling their family pets for vet appointments, if needed. Educating the public /community about animal welfare /educating our youth about Animal Cruelty/ educating the uneducated. We encourage you to contact us if you are interested in fostering for us or making a lifelong commitment as an adopter. If interested in fostering or volunteering, please contact us at taoanimalrescue.com
We strive to find the best forever placement, so all of our adoptions require an application, a home visit, and an adoption fee. All of the TAO team members and fosters are " unpaid" volunteers at TAO. Our source of funding is donations of funds and supplies. If you wish to donate, please click here via our Amazon Wish List :
