This is what it looks like when a dog forgets he's at the groomer. Full-body sprawl. Taking up every inch of the table. Grinning like he owns the place. 🐾

Helen was finishing up a Cut & Style on this gorgeous Bernedoodle from Frontier Estates in Prosper TX — and he decided the grooming table was his new permanent residence.

No kennels. No cages. No other dogs. Just one-on-one attention until you're ready to rule your neighborhood again. 🚐

🧡 "You can't look away, can you?"

This apricot goldendoodle in Villages of Stonebridge has the kind of eyes that stop you mid-scroll. Helen shaped that white muzzle and beard to perfection — every line clean, every curve intentional.

Helen always says the best grooming shots aren't the before-and-afters. They're the moment a dog looks straight into the camera and you see who they really are underneath all that fluff.

😎 "𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁."

This little apricot poodle mix came to us for their first-ever 𝗖𝘂𝘁 & 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 in Lakes on Legacy, and Helen worked her magic with a perfect teddy bear cut. That beautifully rounded, fluffy head paired with the uniform body length — this is what happens when you trust a pro with your doodle's signature look. ✂️

The confidence radiating from this pup says it all. Some dogs just know when they're looking their best! 🐩

🌨️ "𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁... 𝗮 𝘀𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘁?"

This blue-point Ragdoll from Castle Hills came in for spring deshedding, and Helen pulled what felt like an entire second cat out of his undercoat. The 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲-𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 uses specialized tools to remove loose undercoat without damaging the top coat.

That white cloud on the van floor? All from one incredibly patient cat. ❄️🐱

☁️ "𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁... 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗺𝗲?"

Snowdrift here just discovered what an English Cream Golden Retriever looks like under six months of undercoat buildup. That cloud-like pile on our table? Every bit of it came from this beautiful girl during her 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵 & 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵 with Ultimate De-shed Treatment.

We were out in Windsong Ranch in Frisco this morning and Helen worked her magic with our specialized deshedding tools. English Creams are gorgeous, but that double coat is no joke — especially during spring shedding season. 🌸

Meet Murphy, our XL Goldendoodle regular from Austin Ridge at Lone Star Ranch in Frisco, TX. He's absolutely terrified of blow dryers — so Helen stacks TWO Happy Hoodies for double noise dampening while using the high-velocity dryer on his chest. 🧡

Orange underneath, pink on top. Eyes closed, looking away, but sitting calmly in the tub. This is what fear-free grooming looks like in action — not forcing cooperation, but making it feel safe.

Every anxious dog gets whatever they need to feel comfortable. Sometimes that's ear muffs, sometimes it's stacked hoodies, sometimes it's going slower. The 𝗖𝘂𝘁 & 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 takes as long as it takes. 💙

Meet our Legacy West Airedale who came prepared for maximum noise protection during his 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗺 & 𝗧𝗶𝗱𝘆. Yellow ear muffs AND a pink Happy Hoodie underneath — double the comfort for dogs who need that extra sound barrier during the drying process. 🌟

Helen's been perfecting this layered approach for anxious pups. The Happy Hoodie calms with gentle compression while the muffs block the blow dryer noise. This guy's standing calmly in the tub, which tells you everything about how well it works.

💭 Some dogs need more support than others, and that's perfectly okay. We meet every pup exactly where they are.

Meet this Austin Ranch tabby who just redefined what "chill" means. While most cats are... well, let's just say less enthusiastic about grooming, this guy sat like a perfect gentleman through his entire 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵 & 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵.

Tail wrapped neatly, posture perfect, green eyes saying "Is that all you got?" 😸 Helen's fear-free handling techniques work just as well on our feline friends as they do on anxious pups.

Yes, we groom cats too! And honestly, some of them handle it better than the dogs.

This Lakes on Legacy goldendoodle came in for a 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗺 & 𝗧𝗶𝗱𝘆, but the owner's kids had a special request... a purple mohawk! When the family wants something that’ll make the whole neighborhood do a double-take, Helen delivers. 🎸

The mohawk is bold, vibrant, and perfectly shaped using OPAWZ semi-permanent, non-toxic, and gentle pet hair dye. But what we love most is how confident and comfortable this pup stayed throughout the entire creative process. A total pro! 🐾

👀 "𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲?"

This gorgeous Pomsky from The Tribute just proved that the 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲-𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 isn't just for the big breeds. Look at that massive pile of gray and white undercoat at her feet! 🤯

With her Pomeranian-Husky mix coat, she carries a LOT more fur than you'd expect from her compact size. The de-shedding process got all that loose undercoat out before it ended up all over her owner's furniture and clothes. 🧥
