Looking for the Perfect Forever Home for Rocco

Meet Rocco, a handsome 5-year-old purebred Mini Australian Shepherd located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Rocco is healthy, weighs 35 lbs., and is up to date on all vaccinations. He is incredibly smart, loyal, affectionate, and full of personality.
Rocco’s favorite thing in the world is playing frisbee, and he would thrive with an active owner who enjoys spending time outdoors. He has even herded sheep before, so he may do especially well on a farm, acreage, or in a home with plenty of space to run and play.
Rocco is looking for a specific type of home where he can truly succeed. He needs to be the only dog in the household because he resource guards high-value items such as frisbees and, occasionally, socks. Due to his energy level, he is not a good fit for apartment or condo living. A house with a securely fenced yard is strongly preferred.
This is a very difficult and heartfelt decision, and the goal is simply to find Rocco the safe, loving forever home he deserves. In the right environment, Rocco will be an incredibly devoted, fun-loving companion.

Join us in giving a great big Draxen Farms Family congratulations to Megan, Churchill, Vyce and Kathleen (both team’s biggest cheerleader) on passing their PT tests and earning their first ever herding titles!They’ve put in hours and hours of training, working at the farm every weekend for months to prepare for their PT tests. It just goes to show that with hard work, teamwork and a mutually loving relationship between dog and human, anything is possible. We can’t wait to see what you do when the trial season starts up again in the fall! Congratulations!
