2026 ICAA STALLION SERVICE AUCTION REMINDER
If you have a stallion (or two) that you are willing to donate to the 2026 ICAA Stallion Service Auction, please let us know as soon as possible. The TENTATIVE DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 1st to have at least one very good photo for the ads and a write-up to go in. We will also include some of your stallion's offspring photos if we have them. It takes a considerable amount of time to get the website page, PDF flyer, and Facebook auction page updated to reflect all of the stallions, and to get the information out there to the public several weeks before the bidding begins in mid-December. Please keep in mind that a picture is worth a thousand words! Critique the photos you send to us to show your stallion at his best; clean, well-groomed, with no distortions.
Most of our ICAA stallions who have donated in the past are in the Stallion Showcase on the ICAA website, which is a free service to current members for their ICAA-registered stallions. Please look over the current flyers to be sure no updates are needed for the 2026 breeding season. If you have a stallion that is not listed in the showcase, you may want to consider putting him in. Most of the information from these flyers is used for the auction information, and the auction flyer that will be sent out will state if the stallion can be seen in the showcase.
These auctions are ICAA's best source of fundraising, so we can keep our fees as low as possible, even with the high cost of running the organization. The donation of your stallion(s) not only helps ICAA, but they are also promoted before and during the auction, receiving free advertising. Stallion owners will also receive a free 2026 or 2027 registration for free (testing not included).
Another perk for stallion owners is that many have said when the high-bidding mare owners come to their property, they many times bring friends who want to breed as well, or end up being buyers of their horses.
High bidders will have the opportunity to breed to these awesome stallions at discounted fees, and will also receive a free membership for the breeding year.
This is a win-win for everyone!
