Kenny Platt began training horses as a professional in 2006. As a youth, Kenny and his mother, Paula Platt, traveled to local shows all over the country. Kenny has been mentored by people such as Matt Rava, Lloyd Cox, and Barbara Schulte. Kenny's achievements include winning the Super Stakes in April 2016, being a multiple NCHA Futurity Finalist, being champion of both the Brazos Futurity and the

Idaho Futurity, and many local titles such as the WSCHA Futurity champion. Kenny specializes in the training of Aged Event horses, but also trains many Non Pros and Amateurs, along as older horses for the Open level competition also. KPCH is located 45 minutes north of Denver, in the city of Fort Lupton Colorado.

Couldn’t ask for a better group of customers or a better group of horses. We’re grateful for every one of them and pretty proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish together.

Talk about a good season so far, Kenny Platt Cutting Horses is well on his way to $1 Million just in LAE money for 2026, and it’s only August! After the finals from the Idaho Cutting Horse Association Futurity was added, he has won $913,546 in limited-aged money this year. Unbelievable if you ask us!
