Spending some time with one of our OG mares Charlotte (by Chaleon). She is the most perfect and sweet mares, loves grooming and handling and she loves to show off in the show ring at the inspections with her babies!

This spring she is bred to for a 3rd repeat of this cross the last two have been absolutely phenomenal premium offspring. Due May 14 and claimed.

After foaling we’re looking for her next match. Options include Chacco Ricco, Con Capilot or Jethro Tull. Plus we can go with our home stallion !

This mare constantly out produces herself with super ammy friendly, stunning and athletic hunter type babies.

It was a great season for everyone in our team and we celebrate all of their wins-big and small not always including winning ribbons . I’m so proud of how our team supported each-other through the highs and lows. We are looking forward to an exciting 2026 season with new matches and of course some of our existing duos.

Oldenburg N.A. inspection August 2025

We were honored to present two stallions for licensing! In addition we presented two of our mares for the mare books.

Both of our stallions received one merit star and puff also received an additional star for his high inspection scores! They are both licensed through Oldenburg and will earn more merit stars through competition and offspring accolades.

KNJ DreamKhatcher : 2017 bay Sabino Arabian pony stallion 14.2hh

Candescent : 2021 buckskin Westfalen stallion 16.2hh

We are excited to offer our stallions to the public next year. Both of these boys have wonderful relaxed personalities along with great work ethics. Stay tuned for some early bird specials on their stud fees.

Saturday we attended the MRC show at the Colorado Horse Park. Everyone brought their A game! Everything was so smooth and well run it didn’t even feel like a long day with huge classes!

Avery and Bayamo earned double champion in both the low children’s hunter and Eq with a handful of blue ribbons. This pair is on fire!

Autumn and Arlow received a reserve champion in the modified hunters and some great ribbons in the eq. In addition, they won the best turnout award. This makes me so proud as turnout and horsemanship are very important to me. Autumn has worked on sharpening her braiding skills all season.

Brinkley and Fiona had some great ribbons in the 18”. She has been working hard on developing her partnership with Fiona and it shows! They put a lot of pieces together this show.

Kensie and Farve had a great time together picking up reserve champion and 2 1sts in the 18”. This was her first time showing him and it was gorgeous to watch.

Sunday we went to the UDJC show at Paswater acres /Jk Training. We are loving these shows, it’s such a great format and fun!

Elisebeth rode Paddington in the .75, .85 and .95 classes. Paddington has really become confident and rideable over the last few shows. He is so much fun.
Also riding Matotcha, we had some lovely rounds in .75 and .85. She was so adjustable and balanced ; it was a blast! Thank you to Shelby for bringing these horses and the wonderful opportunity.

I can’t imagine a better way to have spent my birthday!

Can we go back to horse show mode??! 🏔️

Our group had an amazing time in Estes Park for Copper Penny 1&2. This has been a favorite show of mine since my first trip in 1998.

Too many photos and accolades for one post so stay tuned for each horse and rider’s results!

I am so proud of everyone and impressed with what a great and supportive group we have. Thank you to everyone that came and supported our crew as well! We had amazing snacks, a great stall set up, and most importantly happy horses!

Special thank you to our amazing groom, Edgar, who kept our horses turned out flawlessly and so well cared for. I couldn’t do it without him!

Thank you to Rachael for being the best personal assistant (and personal driver ). We were grateful to have your help!

Thank you to Autumn for always stepping up to help me, between hauling horses, riding extra horses and classes, and braiding along with me on many early mornings. So honored to have you with us!

Thank you to Frederik for hauling our horses in style and luxury!

I’m already missing the show vibes. Next year will be so much fun! Thank you Collman Equestrian and CHJA for a wonderful show!

The Meant To Be team had an awesome ( and busy!) weekend at the UDJC show! It was the first show of this organization in Colorado and we loved it! The format is very friendly and informative with lots of positive feedback.

There were so many classes and ribbons to list but each horse was awesome and we learned so much!

Autumn Trudeau showed her new boy McLaren in his first show, winning her first class! We could not be more proud of how this young horse is coming along. This was her first time in the dressage ring as well where they crushed it! She is doing a fabulous job with his education!

Shelby Burleson brought along her 3 lovely horses Matotcha VG, Aire London TFF and Mattefina TFF. It was so wonderful to see Mandi Cotrell back in the ring with Mattie and she did a stellar job with this young mare in the lower jumpers. We dusted off the cobwebs with the other two in the .75 jumpers with some consistent rounds, including a class win. Thank you Shelby for sharing these special horses with me!

Nila Grey Dancer, owned by Rebecca C***a, came for a few dressage classes. We love the “Ability” format of these classes. Nila was lovely despite little to no warm up due to ring conflicts in the L Ability. Thank you Rebecca for the opportunity to show her!

KNJ DreamKhatcher was his usual rock star pony self, flowing around the jumpers and scoring excellently in the M Dressage Ability. So grateful for the opportunity to continue to campaign this wonderful stallion.

Candescent was also his usual golden boy self. Entering in the lower jumping classes and the 4 year old dressage test, he even won a class! I’m so proud of how consistent and rideable this young stallion is!

Thank you to the UDJC team, JK Trainjng and Paswater Acres for a fabulous show. We will definitely be coming to more of these events!

Our young fillies had a fantastic few weeks at the Colorado Spring Series!

Bijou Bliss (Bliss ) returned to the ring in the 2 year old Pony Hunter Breeding. She was very well behaved and remembered her manners in the ring. Week two she was even handled by my friend Olivia, her first time competing with her. I am so pleased with how this filly is maturing.

Chaussettes ( Chacco Ricco) had her very first outings. She was a perfect angel showing off her fancy trot for the judge. I am utterly impressed with how level headed this youngster is. Chanel was completely unphased by the show setting. When she fills out more age is going to be unstoppable!

We are excited to continue our spring and summer circuit with our young horses and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the newest one!!

Meant To Be Farm had such a fun (and busy) weekend competing at the MRC Jump into Summer show AND Dressage for the Cure. Showing two stallions, memorizing 5 dressage tests, and switching back from hunters and dressage was no light task 🫣 We all had so much fun and I am very grateful for my awesome team there to support me!

Elisebeth showed KNJ DreamKhatcher is second 1 & 2. His scores improved each day and I am so proud of how rideable he was in the ring. We took a few firsts, thirds and sixth home. I’m having so much fun teaching him another discipline.

Elisebeth also showed Nila Grey Dancer for her owner Rebecca C***a in training 3 and first 1. We earned some great scores despite a rider error in our first test. She took home several seconds and high point thoroughbred! Nila is a joy to show and I’m very grateful for the opportunity

Autumn Trudeau showed the cute Astounding again in the modified hunters and equitation. Autumn took home some awesome ribbons for huge classes, including a win in the eq flat. Arlow finally understood the assignment of rollback turns by her medal where she had a gorgeous trip.

Lastly Elisebeth showed Candescent in the 18” division as well as the 4&5 yr old material and the usef 4 yr old test. I am so impressed with this guy. He didn’t get to school in either ring and stepped up like an old pro. He had perfect ring side manners and was zero prep. He is so much fun!

I am so thankful for such an amazing group and barn family. We might even try dressage again…

The horses and riders of Meant To Be Farm had an amazing first show of the season! We are also excited to welcome some new partnerships and new riders with our group.

First, we had sisters Brinkley and Kensie Wenning teamed up with Courtney Audino’s best boy Tuff “Solid Citizen”. It was impossible to keep track of all the ribbons between both girls but they rode Tuff beautifully in the 18” and 2’ divisions. For their first time competing with him they rode with a calm poise and elegance. Tuff is an amazing teacher but he is not a simple ride so it was great to see them put the pieces together each round. Thank you to Courtney for sharing this great guy with these deserving girls.

Our second new match up was Ayla Knight with Autumn Trudeau’s “Everyday Hero”. Ayla has been out of the ring for a few years but her hard work and dedication shined through and she had some beautiful rounds. She is really starting to click with sweet Favre. Thank you to the Trudeau family for sharing this kind soul with us.

Our last new duo was Autumn Trudeau and our own “Astounding”. Autumn had some amazing rounds in the modified adults earning a champion in the Eq, reserve champion in the hunters and a win in the medal. For their first show together it was truly beautiful to watch. I am excited to share my boy with such a talented and dedicated rider.

Our lovely boy Candescent was an absolute rock star showing in the cross rails for the first time. He handled busy rings and a new environment like an old pro. I am so excited to keep showing him this season. He is an absolute joy to ride.

Lastly, Astounding and Elisebeth had fun playing in the open 2’6/2’9 as a warm up and the under saddle derby where he earned a 5th. He has really grown up and has greatly improved how he handled this venue.

Thank you to Jenni Alsberg for yet another fun and well run show!

I am excited to share the news of our next chapter. Stay tuned!
