Just doubled our capacity in the beetle shed. Spilt the colony into a second freezer in preparation for this year’s fall hunting season.

I am often posting about skulls and how to memorialize a hunt but there are way more important things than the kill itself. If your dad is still around, I hope you take the opportunity to take him hunting and cherish the time together.

We didn’t get a turkey but we made some awesome memories.

Skull is finally done!
This was my first western bird so I went all out and also did a feather mount.

Save your heads!
Beetles only- $25
Degreased and whitened- $50

Beetles are still working on the skull but I thought I would share these pictures in the meantime. Good luck to all the turkey hunters and be careful.

Remember to save your heads. Pop them in the freezer until you can drop them off. $20 just for beetling or $50 to degrease and whiten.

Biggest deer to come through the shop yet. Excited to reveal this one when it’s ready. This deadhead that was actually part of a CSU study. A technician from the research group discovered the deer dead in a fence row after its collar stopped transmitting. He was a big’n!!
