For those with that have the finicky cat or dog... when you know you know!! I just had to post this today because it made me laugh. I have one of these kitties at home, and we're working with a picky boy right now. For the moment we've found some food he likes. The trials and tribulations of being a cat parent and a pet caregiver. There are many days I just wish I spoke the actual cat language so we could just talk through this food situation. The guessing game is a hard one at times. You feel like you miss more than you hit!!

Thank you McAlisters for your kind words, recommendation, and unwavering support through the years. It's hard to believe we first met 7 years ago. How time flies when you're doing something you truly love! It has always been my pleasure to care for your boys and assit you in anyway I know how. What a great time we had with these 2 fun boys!! Bruin is one of the happiest boys on the planet. He looks forward to his treat toy every visit. Watching his toss it around to get his treat pieces to fall really gives him so much joy. He works so hard to get the pieces out. The softy in me just wants to hand feed him the pieces. Stanley can be the sweetest boy ever, and suddenly, he's flying through the house like a wild kitty from floor to floor. But you say the word treat and he materialize suddenly. He really enjoys his enrichment toys, but I can get him to stop dead in his tracks for several minutes for a yummy lickable treat.

Happy 8th birthday, Bennett!! You're such a spunky little dude. You're always so excited to walk and get some treats for doing anything. Just walking inside and going to your treat spot deserves a treat. Yes, I know, I'm a sucker, I'll give you a treat every time!! Happy 15th Birthday, Bentley!! We're not exactly sure of your exact birthday date, but we celebrate you when you arrived at our home asking for help. We continued to assist you for a month and then officially rescued you and made you part of our inside family a month later. That's when your doctor told us you were probably a year old, so that's how we've derived with the age of 15. I can't believe that with the number of birthday parties I've been a part of, this is the first one I've done for you. For a 15 year old and better yet a kitty cat, you were such a good boy. You had such a good time for over 15 minutes in your favorite black chair. That's the longest birthday party I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. I know how much you enjoyed all the yummy chicken you ate during your party. You chewed on the blinking happy birthday. You weren't sure about the happy birthday song when it played. That's when we almost lost you. But you stayed for the chicken. You sniffed lamb chop and were excited to get to that catnip. Now that's your favorite new toy to bat around. Let's not forget your favorite filled treats. Best birthday party ever!!

Introducing new clients Bailey and Summer!! Halley and these 2 girls instantly became BFFs!! It was quite evident each time I saw them together. The girls liked me because I came bearing treats. They gave me many licks, otherwise known as kisses, as their way of saying thank you. But they enjoyed all of their one on one time with Halley. She did 3 visits a day and an overnight stay, providing all the customized requests their family made prior to departing and some special needs that came up when they were gone. These girls had every need tended to from meal time, medication, walking, playing, cuddling, enjoying time on the front porch just hanging out squirrel and bunny watching, sunning on the back deck, nightly slumber parties, endless treats, and so much more. The Rocky Mountain Pet Services & More, LLC. goal is to always give our clients peace of mind while their apart from their animal family so they can have fun, stress free time. From what I was told by Bailey and Summer's mommy tonight, we accomplish our goal!! Welcome to the RMPS Tribe girls!!

Who would have known things were going to get so scary this summer!! It's only 10 am and we've already seen Michael Meyers!! I sure hope Jason, Freddy, Chucky, Ghostface, or Pennywise aren't lurking around any other corners in these neighborhoods!! Happy Friday, the 13th if you can handle it!!

It's with great sadness I post that Gurey's family had to say goodbye way too soon to this loving, sweet boy. His mommy fell in love instantaneously when she met him on one of her volunteer days at Animal Friends Alliance and knew he needed to join her in his new forever home immediately. She knew then his life would be cut short because he was sick but didn't look sick at the time. One day, he would suddenly not be well, and they would have to say goodbye quickly. Well, that day happened, and everyone is completely heartbroken, even me. But you know, Gurey knows how much he was loved each day by his family until the very end. I loved him each time I cared for him like he was my own. I will miss his sweet face looking at me and his high-fives during our playtime. But most of all, I know his family will never forget all the wonderful memories he left behind. I know Desi and Helena, his sisters who passed before him who I cared for as well, were waiting for him!! Now, at last, these 3 can run and play together!! Rest in peace, Gurey!!
