Our Dog of the Week is Dixie!
Dixie is a ray of sunshine, the life of the party, the IT girl. She sports the worlds cutest underbite, and dances on her hind legs. Dixie’s exuberance for the world makes even the blackest heart smile. She is thrilled to have a second chance at life and call Colorado home.
Dixie adores all humans, big and small, every dog she meets, and exhibits a healthy avoidance of the two resident cats. She is potty trained and sleeps through the night on the human bed. Dixie’s hobbies include zoomies, car outings, manning the front desk at the vet office because she’s far too cute and social for a cage.
Dixie loves food and treats, then snuggling with her humans after a day of cavorting with her canine foster siblings in the backyard. She is honestly the whole package, friendly, happy, and up for any adventure.
Dixie’s ideal home will include her in outings in the great outdoors and exercise her each daily. She would be fine as an only pet, if her humans were around a lot, or with a similar moderate to high energy canine sibling. As the cutest girl in town, Dixie would be a lovely addition to most active homes.
