Animal Hoarder Warning: DO NOT REHOME OR ADOPT OUT DOGS TO THIS INDIVIDUAL.

This is a heads-up concerning a woman named Karen Menze. She is a known dog hoarder, cannot take care of them due to her health issues and has a history of issues with animal abuse, doesn’t give them proper medical care etc.

Karen got this poor sweet puppy somewhere off of Facebook or Craigslist. (Puppy is doing great, she went directly to a great animal adoption center.)

All of Karen Menze’s previous group of dogs were removed from her home, however she is determined to acquire more animals (she’s got a couple already, despite everything.)

Please pass this along to anyone you know that is trying to rehome dogs online.

Lend Me a Rat

“I’ll lend you a rat,” God softly said,
“To cherish and love, until he’s dead.
Perhaps for twelve or thirty months—
Or maybe just a few,
But will you care for him, until I call him back to you?

He’ll bring you joy with every day,
And though his time may be brief,
His memories will comfort you,
And ease your future grief.
I cannot promise he will stay, for all must soon return,
But there are lessons here on earth that I want this rat to learn.

I’ve searched the world to find a heart,
A teacher kind and true,
And from all the souls that walk this land,
I’ve chosen you.
So give him all your love and care,

Nor hate me when I come to take your rat back home again.

And so I said, ‘Thy will be done,
For all the joy he’ll bring, I’ll gladly bear the grief to come.
