Maggie, Riley, and Uncle Rico (aka Chunk) are beloved pets that meant so much to a member of our community who has lost them over the past few years. 🩷

To honor their memory, they have generously chosen to cover ALL adoption fees at HSJC today, August 21, and tomorrow, August 22. Their generosity will not only help our adoptable pets find loving homes, but will also help open more kennels for animals in need. It also gives more families the opportunity to welcome a new companion. 🏠

If you’re planning to adopt, please submit an application ahead of time at https://hsjc-wis.com/adopt/ to help speed up the adoption process. We cannot guarantee same-day adoptions without a pre-approved application.

We are grateful for this generous gift and honored to celebrate the lives of Maggie, Riley, and Chunk by helping more pets find families of their own.

We are MOVING INSIDE for tomorrow's Fort Farmers Market! Find us at BASE Fort Atkinson! Same time, same vendors, same same shenanigans. Just staying dry!

We will be moving the market INDOORS for Saturday August 15th due to expected storms that will likely produce lightning. We want to keep our guests and vendors safe. Please find us through the middle door on the south side of the BASE Building, DOOR #3 (The door faces the adjacent cemetery property.) The Address is 1233 Janesville Ave, Fort Atkinson WI.

Tomorrow is DAY 1 of this 2 DAY event! Find us at Tattooed Tree Books from 9 AM - 2 PM. We're brining free bookmarks because who ever has enough of those? A free book themed lip balm and snarky magnet with every $25 purchase (while supplies last!). Plus, a chance to win a gift giveaway - but you'll have to come see me to find out more! Don't forget - Fort Farmers Market is also going on from 8 AM - 12 PM. So if you've missed Chris, he'll be there with the OG setup. He yaps less so you'll be in and out in 2.5 seconds or less.
