Celtic K9 Academy has openings in the upcoming Session 5 (5 Weeks) AGILITY classes scheduled to start the week of August 3rd. If you are interested in learning agility for fun, or for competition this is where you can start. Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday only. We have a few slots left, go to the website www.celtick9academy.com to complete the training questionnaire to begin the process.
We also have opening in the upcoming Scent Work Class being held on Wednesday evenings starting October 7 and will be once a week for 7 weeks. Classes are based on your level of experience.

Well, it's a wrap and in the books. This past weekend, Celtic K9 Academy, LLC welcomed Rock River Valley ASC Club here for the fifth year in a row for their ASCA Agility Trial. This trial was judged by Ben Schwinn, and the courses were fun and challenging at all levels.

Sally Meyer, Jody Gust-Cull and their team were a great to work with as always. As well everyone who stepped up to volunteer when help was needed and kept the trial moving along.

To the handlers that trusted the weather, and came out to play with their pups, and were pleasantly surprised to just how GORGEIOUS the weather was. It was warm on Sat, and very breezy, Sun was a lot cooler and breezy as well.

Congratulations to Kathy with Dodge who won the HIT Aussie, and HIT Overall. Also, congratulations to Elisabeth with Fizz who won the HIT Novice.

Updated Note: Congratulations to Jim and Rosemary in achieving their #4 ATCH!!! You guys are an amazing team to watch run!! Also congratulations to Jenna and Merlin for HIT Open!!! You guys rocked and were fun to watch!! Thanks for joining us this weekend!!

It was great to see several current students stopping out to watch others running their dogs....can't wait to see them start trialing here perhaps next year.

This trial is also where I debuted my young dog, Celtic Brae Bubbly Kisses w Dynamite "Dyna", age 15 mos, running under FEO for fun & experience. She got most of her contacts and also managed to do 6 weaves not once, but twice. Very excited to see her grow in her agility 'career' as she is going to be a blast!!!

Session Two Agility Classes begin the week of March 9. We have a few openings for anyone looking to do agility with their dogs. Class times vary for Monday, Tuesday or Thursday.

Also, if you are interested in learning Nose Work, we have our first Session One of class with Becki Hirschy, 1:00-1:45 p.m. starting March 30 running for 8 weeks. If we get enough interest we will also add a Noon-12:45 class on Mondays.

ANNOUNCING Beginners Scent Work Class at Celtic K9 Academy, LLC, Fort Atkinson.

Instructor will be Becki Jo Hirschy, see website https://celtick9academy.com for bio and registration form (located at the top of the webpage).

Container search to start then interior hides, buried hides, exterior hides are some of what could be covered. Classes being offered at this time will be for eight weeks, Payment due before first day. Monday 1:00-1:45 p.m. With option for a second class 12:00-12:45. Please indicate your preference on the registration form.

You can locate the “Scent Work Class Registration” link at the top of the page, complete the registration form, attach dog’s current vaccine records which must include current Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Bordetella and Rabies vaccines and sign liability form.

Your spot in class will not be guaranteed until payment has been received, and you have been sent an email confirmation of the day/time. Class size minimum will be limited to 6 students and their pup.

Session 1 Scent Work are March 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11 & 18
Session 2 Scent Work are June 1, 8, (no class 15th) 22, 29, July 6, 13, 20 & 27

Looking to host here at Celtic K9 Academy, Beginners Nose Work Class!

If you ever had an interest in learning how to read your dog nosework…this is the class for you.

Detail are pending as I need to poll if enough interest. At this time we are looking for those interested, during weekday hours, maybe Mondays, 8 week sessions.

This is not an obligation, but interest for now. Share with others. Location will be at Celtic K9 Academy, Fort Atkinson. Looking to start in Spring/early Summer.
