Adoption update on Max! 🐶🐾

"Here are two pictures of Axl Rose. We changed his name and he truly is a rockstar!

He is currently learning not to chew the down comforter, run away, or bite when showing affection. We love him so much and cannot imagine life without him. It is a good thing we are retired, as he requires constant supervision and intervention. Thank you so much for bringing us together."

🐾SKINNY, SKINNY DOGS NEED URGENT FOSTERS!🚨

At High Country Humane, we currently have 13 very underweight dogs that need foster homes for a few weeks. They desperately need to gain weight for spay/neuter surgery and we simply do not have the capacity to keep them at the shelter for weeks.

We have:
-6 two month old puppies. These can go as singles, pairs, or trios.
-4 five months old teenagers. They can go as singles or pairs.
-3 one-two year old adult dogs (pictured). They only weigh between 15-20lbs so they are not very large.

To be their foster hero, please contact our foster team: call/text (928) 821-5507 or email [email protected]. PLEASE SHARE! 📲

This is a courtesy post for two sweet kitties in urgent need; their guardian is moving out of the country on November 10 and housing has fallen through for these adorable babies! If you can help, please reach out to Kim at [email protected] as soon as possible. Here is more info about the cats:

Meet Freud & Frida
(Sigmund Freud & Frida Kahlo)
Freud is a sweet orange fluffball, who loves all the snugs and pets, even the belly. He is a very dog-like cat, very social and is a "gets along with everyone and every pet" kind of guy. A true chiller and a dream of a cat. He was found in a snowstorm about 5 years ago and is the happiest bean as long as he gets to be around you.
He has got a little 2year old sister Frida, who is also a sweetheart but a little bit more skittish. She loves pets and will try to crash in your bed (and might take up all the space while she purrs), but she is a lover girl.
The are looking for their forever home asap❤️
Both of them are indoor-only, due to Freud's asthma and also due to them being to friendly and liable to get lost if let outside.

Big Ears. Big Heart. Adopt Glados! 🖤🤍

This precious girl is ready to find a forever kind of love! Her best friend, Willow, has just adopted yesterday, now it's gotta be her turn soon! 🤞 Glados is an energetic 11 month old who weighs 45lbs. When we say energetic, think about your toddler eating a bunch of nerd gummy clusters... 😜

She is still young and is geared up to learn new things in a home! With your help, she'll master the basics like leash skills, potty training, etc. At the shelter, she loves to play with other dogs.. she just doesn't want to share her toys with them. If you have another dog at home, be sure to bring them for a meet n greet! 🐶 She also LOVES treats (and toys)!

Meet her today at:
📍 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ
⏰ Open 11-5, Thursday through Tuesday
