We believe the love of a cat can make life brighter at any age, and we want to help seniors and cats find each other. 🐱 That’s why High Country Humane is proud to offer fee-waived adoptions for cats (5+ years old) when adopted by seniors (60+ years old)! 💙

Adoptions will follow our normal counseling process! All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before going home. 🐾

Meet Rocky, a 64lb meatball of pure LOVE. ❤ Rocky loves his people & loves his toys. Tug is his FAVORITE past time, also fishing for toys in the kiddie pool. His most comfortable position? The famous SPLOOT! Plus, he’s potty trained!

Because of his love of toys & enthusiastic play style, we recommend a home with no small kids for this guy! 😍

Come meet him soon, he's a chunk of adorable Bulldog with wrinkles for days! 😎

June is our Pet of the Week and she just can’t wait to get out of the shelter and into a loving home! 💛

At just 1.5 years old and around 80lbs, this sweet girl has so much love to give. Recently surrendered, June is now searching for a forever home where she can share her big smile and even bigger heart.

She’s potty trained, great with other dogs, and would love a canine friend to play and relax with. 🐶 June is affectionate, a great hiker, and ready to be someone’s loyal companion. Her only request? No small animals like cats or critters!

If you’re looking for a loving, happy pup to brighten your days, come meet June!! She’s ready to start her next chapter… maybe with you. 🤞🏻

Mouse has already picked up the command ‘sit,’ what a good boy! ❤️

Mouse is a sweet boy who likely spent most of his life as an outdoor dog before coming to the shelter. Being an indoor dog is totally new to him, so please give him a little grace as he adjusts to his new norm. 🏡

Mouse loves other dogs and really thrives with a friendly one to learn from. 🐶 He walks on leash and is getting the hang of potty training! He's made such amazing progress in his time with us, but now it's time for him to find a family of his own. One that can meet him where he's at and help him learn all the 'dog' things 🥰

He's a little shy, a lot of goofy, and SO deserving of a chance. If you'd like to meet Mouse, stop by High Country Humane any day of the week (11am-5pm). And bring TREATS, Mouse LOVES treats and this really helps him meet new people! 😊
