As April is is Pet Memorial month, I thought it would be appropriate to announce I can lend a very sympathetic ear to anyone mourning the loss of their fur child. No matter how big or small that angel is, it is excruciating to lose such a totally unconditional love.
If you’re struggling, please reach out, I am here to empathize and support.
I’m not a psychologist, just someone who has been through it so many times, under so many circumstances over the last 50 years.
Most people don’t get it, they brush it off because it’s not a human child or a human - period. They feel the need to draw comparisons to “put it in perspective” as someone once said to me.
Not helpful at all.
Your heart doesn’t know or care what species something is, all it knows is the impact of a loss so overwhelming you feel like you will never breathe again.
Every one of your (furry, hairy or otherwise) family, changes you in a way so profound, a part of you dies with them.
Not everyone feels like this about them but a lot of us do.
Don’t suffer alone.
Call me 24/7, if I hear my phone I WILL answer it. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I see it.
No fee, just someone who understands and who has had to struggle through these times with little, true understanding.
