We are so sad to say goodbye to Bentley 🐾💔

Blind, deaf, and struggling with arthritis, 14-year-old Bentley was abandoned at our shelter just before Christmas. We knew he might not have long, but as always, we were determined to give him a second chance, no matter his age.

So close to Christmas, we worried that Bentley would spend the holidays alone, but thanks to Jenn Carolan, one of our amazing fosters, Bentley's last Christmas was filled with nothing but love. It is because of fosters like her that we are able to provide so many abandoned seniors with the best care until the very end.

Bentley is not the first senior pet to receive end of life care from our shelter. Animals are coming to us older than ever before and at the point in life when time might be limited. And while we strive to provide them with all the care that they need, we can not help them without the support of our community.

Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of animals just like him, who are still waiting for their second chance. So as we enter this new year with new hope, we ask that you make a donation in Bentley's memory, to bring a brighter future for senior pets just like him.

Meet Tiny and Raton! A perfectly matched, must stay together duo looking for a forever home that wants double the love and twice the sweetness! 💕

Tiny is 5, Raton is 6, and these two small dogs are true partners in everything. They’re bonded and do life side by side. Say “go lay down” and they both trot right into their crate together. 🥹 They are happy little homebodies who enjoy grazing on their meals and relaxing together.

Raton enjoys meeting new people and recently showed off his best behavior at the groomer. Tiny is more of a “let me get comfortable first” kind of girl. She takes her cues from Raton and warms up quickly once she sees him getting attention.

Tiny and Raton are looking for someone who understands how special bonded pairs are and is ready to welcome two hearts into one home. Come meet them and see their connection for yourself. Some pairs are simply meant to stay together, and these two are proof!
