Happy Mother’s Day to the sweet mamas who worked hard raising their kittens — sometimes while still being kittens themselves!

Meet Wapiti — a goofy, lovable guy with a name as unique as his howl! This 60 lb. coonhound/pointer mix was found near Elk Creek Lake, and his name means “white rump elk” in Shawnee — fitting for a pup who can leap a 3-foot gate like it’s nothing! (Don’t worry, he’s just showing off. A 5-foot fence will do the trick.)

Wapiti is the total package: playful, affectionate, and a belly-rub enthusiast. His favorite trick? Dramatically sliding into a “lay down” for treats. He’s friendly with both dogs and cats, and even aced his doggie daycare debut. Whether he’s chasing squirrels with his signature howl or flopped on the couch, Wapiti brings joy to every moment.

He’s neutered, microchipped, crate trained, and up to date on all his vaccines — ready to find his forever home with an active, loving family.

Meet Neecie! Neecie is a 6-month-old, 5.5-pound cutie with a soft white coat and sweet gray patches. Neecie is a smart, curious girl who enjoys exploring and playing—especially with the resident small dogs, who she absolutely adores. (We’re not totally sure she knows she’s a cat!) She also gets along with other cats. When she’s not playing, Neecie is all about the snuggles. She loves to nap on her foster mom’s lap, cuddle up in bed, and cozy up with her dog buddies. Like most kittens, she has bursts of energy followed by quiet cuddle time. She’s about 95% sweetheart, 5% sassy.
Neecie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FeLV/FIV negative, and litter box trained. She’s ready to bring joy, play, and plenty of snuggles to her forever home! Estimated DOB 10/13/24

Dory & Coral are looking for their forever homes!
Dory ~This sweet lady is a soft little cuddle bug! As a bit of a pushover with her siblings, she spends a lot of her time looking for comfort/help from her person. Dory is a bit of a velcro dog, which her foster mom thinks comes from the theorized Australian Shepherd/Border Collie part of her. She will likely become someone's forever shadow.

Coral~ This fiesta lady runs the show, and she makes sure you know it. You can typically find this little one basking in the sun on the patio out back, a very typical Great Pyrenees trait/past time. While Coral is bound to be big and mighty, she also has a soft side. She is the first to confidently come running up to her foster mom for kisses and belly rubs. Her foster mom sees Coral being someone's loyal protector one day.

Both girls are being cared for in a home with a variety of animals, both cats and dogs, and have had the opportunity to be well socialized.
Additionally, they have been spayed, microchipped, heart worm tested, f***l tested, dewormed, put on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, and vaccinated according to the current puppy schedule. Their estimated birthday is 3/3/25.
