We are open seven days a week offering four time slots per day...10, 12:30, 3 and 5:30 p.m. Tours are between 1.5 - 2 hours depending on group size. Bir

This is one of the projects that all of your generous tips and donations helped to fund this past winter. Viggo our yellow headed water monitor got quite the enclosure upgrade and seems to be loving it so far. Thank you to everyone who helps support the zoo by coming out for tours, parties, and school events. You guys make it possible for us to keep improving the lives of our animals and our guest’s experience.

**Thank you to everyone who made Saturday a success. We had a really fun first day of this event. Please feel free to share your favorite pics in the comments. Our Sunday tickets are sold out as well and we are looking forward to another great day
**Saturday tickets sold out in less than 24 hours so we will be adding a few time slots on Sunday. Please note that this is the only weekend we are able to offer this program for the year so no additional days will be added. Get your tickets now as we expect Sunday to sell out as well.

We will be offering a special winter interaction program on Saturday January 17th from 11am-4pm. Since we are not able to do our large winter event this year due to construction and repair projects in the zoo we are offering this event instead while the zoo is closed.

You will be able to pet, hold and take pictures with 8 different species. These include our skunks, wallaby, red footed tortoise, tarantula, hissing cockroach, blue tongue skink, alligator, and one of our snakes. Our Amazon parrot will also be happy to talk with you but will be the only one we don’t get to pet or hold during this event.

The interactions will take place in our party room for this event. Tickets are $25 per person for a 30 minute time slot and must be purchased in advance. There will be 10 tickets sold for each time slot so you may be placed in a group with others unless you purchase all tickets for that time. Harry asked me to let you guys know we are open for tours and birthday parties through December 28th this year. Book your fall tours now as weekends tend to fill up.
We also will be traveling to local schools again beginning in November. Travel dates are limited and we already have some booked.
