Chuck Waggin Pet Food Pantry is normally scheduled for our regular pet food distribution ( always on the second saturday of every month ) at Arise Church - Pinckney, MI on Saturday, December 13th from 10:30 -noon.
However, as most of you know...we are a very small non-profit with only 4 volunteers. So, normally one out of the four of us is able to fill in and cover our distribution event.
Unfortunately, this weekend due to some medical issues among our family members which require our full time attention, we have not been able to secure enough volunteers to do the distribution on the 13th.
So we are rescheduling it to Saturday, December 27th from 10:30 to noon at Arise Church. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are working with the Arise volunteers ( for the human food pantry ) to provide them with small bags of dry cat and dog food. It will be enough to get you through until the 27th, when we can provide our normal monthly amount.
If you emergently need pet food and cannot wait until the 27th, then please message April Tyler and we can schedule to have you come to Fenton for a pick up of the pet food you need.
I apologize for the last minute changes, but like you... we all have families and pets of our own that we β€οΈ love and have to take care of. So that needs to always be our first priority.
That said, we also know that so many of you are struggling with anxiety over how you will be able to afford to feed your families.
Please know that both Chuck Waggin Pet Food Pantry and Arise Church remain committed to helping you , your families and your pets get through these tough economic times.
