Police canines are one of the most valuable resources a police department can have. Along with their vigorous work schedule, these highly intelligent canines go through extensive training sessions on a regular basis to keep their skills at the highest level possible. Unfortunately, it's not always possible for law enforcement agencies to provide adequate funding for the care, training, and mainten

ance for these canines while on duty, or after they retire. Stoppers was founded with the basic purpose of assisting Law Enforcement agencies with the appropriation and distribution of funding for police canine related interests.

What an AWESOME day at Cove Cafe! Thank you so much to every one who came out to support our mission. We raised $3000 today and none of that could have been done without YOU. We hope you had as much fun as we did 😊

We want to welcome our newest member, K9 Scout and Deputy Tegg!

Scout is a 1.5 year old Bloodhound. Deputy Tegg has had him since August. Scout is used for scent discriminate trailing. Scout came from SEK9 in Tallahassee, Florida. He works for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. He has one find and has located multiple pieces of evidence on his trails.

We are so excited to have Scout and Deputy Tegg join PAW Stoppers and eager to see them succeed in their career.

⭐️ PAW Stoppers Spotlight - ZEKE ⭐️

This is K9 Zeke. Zeke worked for the St. Louis County Police Department and is currently medically retired. Zeke received the K9 Valor Award from the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA) for apprehending two armed fleeing felons. Because of Zeke’s bravery, the apprehension resulted in being injured and ultimately medically retired. PAW Stoppers covered the cost of his veterinary care and treatments so Zeke could spend his retirement with a quality of life a working dog deserves.

In his retirement, Zeke enjoys going to the farm, playing with his family, and relaxing on the couch.
