Fred is a handsome, sweet guy who was living in a storm drain and foraging for food. When trapped he was noted to be fairly friendly. He was very familiar with living in a home and easily met new people. Freddy is a bit of a mama's boy and likes to be near his human. He is good at taking naps and draping across any available lap. Our boy is a good eater and litter box custodian. His favorite toys are wands and ping pong balls. Because he is an enthusiastic player and sometimes quick to let people know when he's had enough he will be best with older children. [email protected]

Meet GOODFELLOW! This little guy was trapped in a wharehouse, presumed that he was feral. He was taken and put thru the TNR vetting. I could see he was very skinny and had a goopy eye. He seemed very mellow, just afraid, & way too sweet to put back outside to live that life.
I’ve had him almost 3 weeks and he’s eating great and gaining weight. His eye is cleared up with meds. (I knew he wasnt feral when he let me put meds in his eye)
He loves to be pet, sits on my lap, and is even purring now. ( he hasnt learned meowing, so he has a tiny hiss Its his way of saying “good morning”, glad your back) He’s not sure about the other cats in the house but we’re working on that. Hes still skiddish of noises, and fast movements, buts hes very sweet and loving. He has the run of the kitten room but sometimes prefers his crate thats open for him to come and goes as he pleases. For right now he is content to be loved on, played with, & to be inside.
Goodfellow has been neutered, microchipped, has had his rabies, FVRCP, worming meds, flea meds and he’ll be ready for his very own home soon. If you like to meet this sweet boy, DM me or contact me at [email protected].

This incredibly sweet little girl is Sugar. Sugar has been in rescue since she was a little puppy. Though she is a little over a year old she still acts like a tiny pup. Sugar loves to play and run around with her toys. She is great with other dogs, good with cats, and great with kids. I know, I am totally selling this little girls personality. Sadly this is not a post about adoption. Sugar's look for a home is on hold.

Sugar was taken to the vet the other day due to not eating, throwing up, and not going to the bathroom. With an exam and an xray, it was found out that poor Sugar had an obstruction. Medical intervention was necessary to save Sugar's life. Some obstructions can move through the intestines with fluids but Sugar's was too large to move on its own. Surgery was vital to keep Sugar alive. Yesterday she went in and had abdominal surgery to remove the mass of material that was blocking her. This surgery is not a walk in the park. She will need to stay inactive to make sure she does not pull stitches and heal properly. This very sweet girl wants to recuperate so she can look for her forever home.

Sugar's surgery was a little over $900. We really need help paying for treatment. We have had so many eamergency surgeries and specialty services. Please help by donating and sharing this far and wide.

8 months is a long time to wait for a family to join... don't make Sadie and Coco wait another day! If they don't get adopted together soon, we're faced with the unfortunate choice to separate them. It's not something we want to do, however if it's their only chance at getting out of the shelter we have to take it. If you have room in your heart for a truly amazing duo, please consider these two. They are staff favorites here and we'd love to see them finally get their "happily ever after" together!

Sweet Macaroni Bob is getting adopted Saturday! Bob came into rescue at just 7 days old. He has come such a long way. He will have a kitty sister in the home that he can play and snuggle with. Happy tails good boy!

Bob still has his sisters Bella Baguette and Princess Pepperoni, and his brother Admiral Bacon available for adoption!

Alfredo has adjusted to his foster home so well. He acts like he never left! He loves to play with all of the cats including the kittens. In a little less than 2 weeks sweet Alfredo will have his Echocardiogram. We are hoping that his diagnosis will be good. There is a chance that he may not need medications. He will have to go to the vet every year to check his heart and make sure nothing changes. Alfredo is only 1-1/2 years old and deserves the best life possible. We're hoping that he will be available for adoption once we have results, if not we will get him there so he can find his furever home. He is so sweet and loves to cuddle. He is chubby and we are working on getting him to lose some weight. Currently he loves to run around and he sounds like a bull in a China shop lol!
