I got the sweetest (literally) random gift today! Nothing Bundt Cakes shared some joy and a delicious Classic Vanilla Bundt Cake with me!!! It was soooooo good!!! Mom happened to be there so she got the first piece! It’s the best icing I’ve ever tasted!

Talked to Jourdy and an employee at Starbucks this morning and both said that the road off of Red Bank to get to my shop is not plowed and practically impassible. I’m going to try to stay updated but until that road gets cleared, Doggie Style won’t be able to safely open. Come on sunshine!!! Melt this white stuff away!!!

I’ve got mostly good news!!! I completely severed 2 tendons and small branch of a nerve but no surgery required! They said to slowly start using my hand and the strength will eventually come back. So this weekend I will be trying to reschedule all you wonderful, patient people!

This is going to take a long time. I can barely hold a pen right now. So sc******ng is going to be slow. Not sure how long I can hold my clippers. But I promise I will try my best!

Please pray I get good results from my ultrasound with the hand surgeon on Friday and that hopefully I can be back at work by next week! For those I still need to reschedule, I will reach out Friday and let you know what I find out. I’ve talked with Barks & Recreation Spa and they have some availability to try get anyone in that can’t wait until I can do it. Jourdy's Pet Parlour may have a spot or two also. I’m so grateful all my amazing, patient clients!!

To those I haven’t talked to, or that didn’t see my post on my personal page, I am temporarily off work. Had a freak accident last week and accidentally stabbed myself in the inner wrist and had to get stitches. It’s not quite healing as fast as I hoped so got x-rays today and scheduled for an ultrasound on Friday to see what’s going on. I really hope to be back next week and promise I will get everybody rescheduled as soon as I can! 

My sweet old man, Brian, is enjoying this staycation much more than I am. 🤦‍♀️
