Bonded pair up@for adoption

Gabby and Spice are bonded “sister and brother”. Gabby is an 8-yr-old Blue Merle Australian Shepherd weighing 42 lbs and Spice is a 6-yr-old long hair Chihuahua mix weighing 20 lbs. They were thrown out of their home when their owner moved and just left them. They lived outdoors for over a month. The neighbor was feeding them and she reached out to us to take them. They are friendly, affectionate and pretty much stay to themselves. They are not fully house-trained yet so they do need a fenced-in yard. The original owner had a child so they probably are kid-friendly. They have not been cat-tested. The adoption donation for the pair is $500 which includes their spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. They are waiting for their Forever Home so please come to meet them. You can see by the intense look on his face that he is anxious for his forever home. It’s August & that means it’s… CLEAR THE SHELTER MONTH! Meet sweet Cinder & Aurora patiently waiting for their forever family. Please help spread the word!

Here is their info.

Cinder and Auroa are bonded female Flat Coat Retrievers. Cinder is 34 pounds, and Auroa is 27 pounds. They are 1 year old, probably from the same litter. They are both so sweet and affectionate. They are very mellow and get along with the other dogs. They would be great with kids, but have not been cat tested. They appear to be house-trained, but we never guarantee that. The adoption donation for the pair is $300, just reduced, which includes their spay, vaccinations, and microchip. They are heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. This Boy loves playing fetch

Dexter is a 4-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund (chi-weenie) mix weighing approximately 26 pounds. He came to us when his owner died. He is a laid back, fun dog who loves toys. He could keep himself entertained all day, but he loves it when people play fetch with tennis balls. He also loves to play tug of war. Dexter enjoys hanging out with humans and would love to have his own person to chill with. He gets along with the other dogs but has not been cat or kid-tested. A Forever Home Animal Rescue is in need of Capstar for dogs under 25 lbs. We have none left!!! Every dog that comes into the rescue is given Capstar as it kills fleas within 30 minutes. Rascal is a 1.5-year-old Jack Russell mix weighing 23 pounds. He is very friendly, playful, and lovable. He enjoys playing with his toys and frolicking in the yard. He loves attention. He gets along with the other small dogs, but has not been cat or kid-tested. His adoption donation is $350, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. Let's all shout out a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LORI, our founder of A Forever Home Animal Rescue. The love and sacrifices she puts in motion everyday for these pups truly is beyond imaginable. This year we celebrate 15 years of giving back to the community and saving the lives of homeless dogs in need of care. She does not do it alone; we have a wealth of volunteers and a wonderful staff that all work along side her everyday.
