Today, we welcome three new additions to our Catio! Sisters Amelia & Rosa and their cousin Faith are 4 months old and still figuring out the world around them. Ms. Smokey (F, 9mo) is also looking for a quiet home to call her own, and teaching her new roommates about the world they've joined. So come on in and show them how beautiful it is!

We're beating the heat by shaking things up around the store, and one of our major changes is consolidating our free kibble samples for dogs & cats to two respective locations. No need to look high and low for a new recipe to try when we've stuck them all together. This morning we said a fond farewell to Kitsu and Kirros, our sweet orange creamsicles that been with us since the end of February. It is with a heavy heart that we make this announcement. Our dear and beloved friend Mark Dunn, proprietor of Nature's Pet Market in Eugene since April 15th, 2010, was called up to the Rainbow Bridge and has reunited with with all the critters he loved dearly in life. His knowledge of pet diet and health have been an irreplaceable source of comfort for the community that regularly turned to him for advice, earning him the moniker of Mr. Second Opinion in the face of many veterinary assessments and pet owner inquiries.

Our operating hours will continue as usual, and we will post appropriate notices should that change. A memorial is set to be held here at the store, and we will announce the date once we've had time to schedule and prepare.

We at NPME thank our community and customers for their support and for contributing to this business that has been a dream come true for many of us. We ask that everyone remember to love each other, and continue to be the persons that your pets think you are. 🐶❤️🐱
