Start your day by joining us for a special opportunity to learn about animal communication and deepen your connection with the animals we advocate for. Whether you’re an experienced animal advocate or simply curious to learn more, come discover a different way of listening to the animals. Taught by Animal Communicator Shannon Spring, M.Ed., Author of OPEN MIC FOR ANIMALS: Evidential Fairy Tails (St.Petersburg Press). FREE EVENT.

Our sweet Muscovy girls!! Seven years ago today, we rescued them from a farm that had exploited them for eggs with the intent to slaughter them once they stopped producing enough to “earn their keep”. Free Community Day: National Rescued Farmed Animal Day

Join us at Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary on Saturday, August 29th from 12pm-2pm as we celebrate National Rescued Farmed Animal Day!

Spend the afternoon meeting our incredible rescued residents, hearing the inspiring stories of how they found safety and a second chance, and learning about the compassionate work happening at the sanctuary every day. Discover our education and community programs, connect with our team, and experience the unique personalities of the animals who call Luvin Arms home.

Very early Saturday morning, while most of you were likely sleeping, we welcomed a new resident to Luvin Arms.

At just a few weeks old, Heidi survived something almost no piglet survives.
She is what rescuers call a "truck jumper," a piglet who fell or jumped from a transport truck and somehow survived. She is one of the lucky ones.

These first few days at Luvin Arms, she'll receive a veterinary exam, nutritious food, a safe place to rest, and, for the first time, the chance to simply be a piglet.
