We’re not professional meteorologists, but it’s been a gazillion degrees, and this is just a reminder that it’s VERY IMPORTANT to give your trees an additional drink if they’re only getting water from overhead sprinklers in the lawn or right of way strip.

Lay a garden hose at the base of the tree on a slow trickle and let that go for 30 minutes or so to allow the water to slowly seep into the ground.

This is a good practice during the summer, but especially now with brutal heat and drying winds.

Golden Jubilee Hyssop (Agastache) you can start to see the purple cone-shaped flowers forming on top of the chartreuse green leaves. Not only is this beautiful to look at, but the butterflies, bees and hummingbirds will thank you! 

And I just wanted to highlight the rose house because it smells so delicious!

It's not all about the money we make, but the help we give.

 It’s National Rose month, so I thought I would highlight some of the amazing roses we have. But as usual, I walked through the nursery a million other things caught my eye.

So today, let’s just talk about some of the rainbow of plants that can add such striking color and beauty to your landscape all summer.

If you’re living with a sea of green or your yard is all concrete patio, you might be thinking your yard looks a bit blah.
Stop by and look at the perennial options. Look at the gorgeous maroon leaves of the Royall Purole Smoke bush. The red color of the Newport Plum. The purple and magenta flowers on the Butterfly Bush. The bright white petals of the Diana Hibiscus.

Life is meant to be lived in full color, so plant the rainbow!

We also have a beautiful selection of upright junipers from the narrow Taylor to the plump Moonglow. No fat shaming here.
