💔 The Binky Boutique will be CLOSED on Saturday. As a volunteer-run rescue, there are times when we simply do not have enough available volunteers to safely staff and operate the store.

Every person who helps our rescue gives their time out of love for the rabbits, and this weekend we are feeling the reality of how much we rely on our amazing community. We truly appreciate your patience, kindness, and understanding as we navigate days like this. 🐰

If you still need to pick up your silent auction winnings, you will still be able to do so directly from our classroom.

Thank you for continuing to support our rescue, our volunteers, and the bunnies who depend on all of us ❤️

In July 2024, a Good Samaritan was out jogging along a hiking trail when she spotted a box abandoned on the side of the path. Inside were eight baby bunnies — likely from three different litters — all left without their mother. Some were only a few weeks old, while others were just a few months old.

One of those babies was Cliff 🤍

Cliff had quite the medical journey and was diagnosed with megacolon, a serious condition that affects the digestive system and prevents the intestines from moving waste properly. Rabbits with megacolon often struggle with chronic GI issues, weight loss, discomfort, and painful flare ups that require intensive lifelong care.

Through it all, Cliff fought so hard. And he never fought alone.

Our incredible medical team stood by Cliff every step of the way, helping him through each flare up with patience, compassion, and endless love. They worked tirelessly to keep him comfortable and as pain-free as possible, giving him the quality of life every rabbit deserves. Because of their dedication, Cliff knew safety, comfort, and love throughout his journey.

After a long and courageous battle, Cliff has finally lost his fight with megacolon. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing he is finally free from pain and suffering.

From a discarded bunny in a box to a life surrounded by people who loved him deeply, Cliff’s story mattered. He will always be remembered for his strength, his sweetness, and the fight he gave every single day.

Binky free, sweet Cliff 🌈🐇

If you feel moved by Cliff's story, please consider making a donation in his honor! We have another bunny, Lulu, who is currently battling megacolon as well and is in the process of getting a f***l transplant!

✨Glow Up ✨

From shy babies to total showstoppers ✨🐰

Watching Huckleberry and Yogibeary come out of their shells has been the sweetest glow up ever. From messy fur days and learning to trust, to confident binkies, snack stealing, and posing like pros for the camera

These two are proof that with patience, love, and a little bit of hay… rabbits truly blossom 🌸

Huckleberry and Yogibeary have gone from “who are those buns?” to absolute icons around the rescue 💖🥹

Meet the youngest resident 🥺🐰

This tiny baby became an orphan after being carried into a home by a cat. Thankfully, after a full exam, there appear to be no injuries and this little one is safe with us now ❤️

Our medical team has been working around the clock to keep this baby warm, safe, and properly bottle fed. Orphaned rabbits can incredibly fragile and difficult to raise and require specialized care. The bystander knew this and got the baby help right away.

Naturally, the mother's milk is incredibly nutrient dense so feedings can occur twice a day so the mother avoid the nest to keep predators away. Unlike kittens or puppies, orphan rabbits require extremely delicate care and very precise feeding schedules to survive without a mother.

This little fighter is already proving how strong they are and they love bottle feeding 💕 Every feeding, every warm cuddle, and every tiny milestone is a victory worth celebrating.

We’re so grateful this baby was brought to safety when they were. Please keep this tiny bun in your thoughts as they continue to grow stronger each day 🐇✨

As we get ready for tomorrow’s event, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible volunteers who made it all possible ❤️🐰

From facility operations and event planning, to mountains of laundry, organizing the auction, stocking the store, cleaning, setup, transport, and behind-the-scenes coordination — this event was built on hundreds of hours of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. There has truly been blood, sweat, and tears poured into making this weekend a success for the rabbits and our community.

A special thank you to our event coordinators who have spent countless hours planning every detail, and to the leads and other volunteers who stepped up to fill missing positions last minute to clean the shelter and take on extra responsibilities to ensure everything would be ready in time. Your willingness to jump in wherever needed has meant more than words can express.

Rescue work is never easy, and events like this only happen because of people who care deeply and give so much of themselves. We are endlessly grateful for every single volunteer who helped bring this event to life.

Tomorrow is possible because of you. Thank you for showing up for the rabbits, for each other, and for this mission ❤️
