Happy Father's Day to all of the dads/bun dads in our volunteer family!

Today, we want to celebrate the incredible fathers who generously share their time, compassion, and hard work with the rabbits in our care. Whether you're cleaning enclosures, preparing meals, helping with medical care, transporting rabbits, or simply offering a gentle hand and a kind heart, your dedication makes a lasting difference.

The rabbits may not understand what Father's Day is, but they know the comfort of a clean space, the safety of a loving environment, and the kindness of the people who care for them every day. Many of those comforts exist because of you.

Thank you for balancing your commitments at home while still finding time to help animals in need. Your generosity, patience, and compassion inspire us, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our rescue family.

From all of us—and from every rabbit whose life you've touched—Happy Father's Day. We appreciate you more than words can say. ❤️🐰

We are thrilled to celebrate the adoption of not one, but two wonderful bonded pairs! 🐰❤️🐰

Cocopuff & Smore came to Rocky Mountain House Rabbit Rescue after being owner-surrendered to another facility in 2023. Shortly afterward, they made their way to RMHRR, where they patiently waited for a family of their own. As our longest-term adoptable residents, they spent years being overlooked without receiving a single adoption application. We are overjoyed to share that their wait is finally over, and they have found the loving home they deserve.

Buffy & Willow (along with their beloved late companion, Xander) were transferred to RMHRR from another facility in 2025. A few months ago, they experienced the heartbreaking loss of Xander due to a sudden onset of liver lobe torsion. Through that difficult time, Buffy and Willow leaned on one another, and their bond remained as strong as ever. We are delighted to announce that they, too, have found a forever home and are settling in beautifully.

These adoptions are a reminder that every rabbit, no matter their age, history, or how long they have waited, deserves a chance to be loved. Thank you to the adopters who opened their hearts and homes to these deserving buns. 💕🏡

Happy tails, Cocopuff, Smore, Buffy, and Willow—we can't wait to see all the adventures ahead! 🐇✨

🚨 STOLEN RABBIT – PLEASE SHARE 🚨

Edit to add: I did call Colorado Springs dispatch and the case number reported matched the details - there was a rabbit inside a stolen vehicle.

Our hearts are breaking as we ask for your help finding Boba, a 6-month-old black rabbit who was stolen this morning in Colorado Springs.

Boba was inside a black 2008 Ford Edge when the vehicle was stolen during a fake DoorDash order in the 1000 block of Magnolia St. The vehicle was taken around 5:42 AM on June 09, 2026. Some belongings were later found near E. Cache La Poudre St. and K**b Hill Ct., but Boba is still missing.

💔 Boba has been without access to his hay, water, and familiar surroundings. Rabbits are extremely sensitive animals, and every minute matters.

🐰 Boba's Description:
• 6 months old
• Black rabbit

🚗 Vehicle Description:
• Black 2008 Ford Edge
• License plate removed/discarded
• Dented driver's-side fender
• Foggy headlights

💰 $1,000 REWARD offered by the owner for Boba's safe return.

Some of the sweetest friendships come with long ears, twitching noses, and a love for sharing snacks.

Rabbits are social animals who thrive on companionship. Whether it's a bonded pair grooming each other, flopping side-by-side for a nap, or racing around together in a joyful binky session, friendship is an important part of a rabbit's life.

Today we're celebrating all the best-friend buns who make each other's worlds a little brighter—and the humans who love them just as much. ❤️
